Wang Jams Turn On Gaw

From the cutoff seat, Andrew Gaw opened with a raise to 10,500. Henry Wang put in a reraise to 52,500 from the small blind, and Gaw made the call.

On the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop, Wang checked, and Gaw bet 40,000. "Make it 120,000," was the response from Wang as he check-raised to that amount. After tanking for a minute or two, Gaw made the call.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds}, and Wang quickly moved all in for right around 240,000. Gaw snap-folded and did so in disgust.

Seungsoo Jeon Eliminated in 21st Place (HKD$173,000)

From under the gun plus one, Tom Alner raised to 10,500. Seungsoo Jeon from Korea made the call from the small blind, and the flop came out {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. After Jeon checked, Alner fired a continuation bet of 20,500. Jeon made the call.

The turn paired the board with the {6-Spades} falling, and Jeon checked. Jeon had about 137,000 in chips when he checked fourth street, and Alner sized his bet at 50,500. Jeon check-raised all in, and Alner snapped, which meant bad news for Jeon's {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. Alner held a full house with the {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}.

The river completed the board with the {7-Clubs}, and Alner won the pot. He had Jeon covered to send him to the rail in 21st place.

Alner began the day with 158,000 in chips, but has skyrocketed up the leader board and now has over half a million in chips.

Exciting Double Up for Alner

From early position, Raiden Kan raised to 11,500. Seungsoo Jeon made the call from the cutoff seat, then Xing Zhou called on the button. After that, play moved over to Tom Alner in the big blind. He reraised all in for 140,000. Kan called, then the other two folded.

Kan tabled the {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} emphatically to have Alner on the ropes with the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}.

On the flop, Alner hit an ace, but the {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{3-Spades} also gave Kan a set of kings and really dampened Alner's chances.

The turn helped Alner big time when the {A-Clubs} gave him trips and allowed him still to have a chance.

The river delivered a massive amount of excitement from everyone looking on when the {Q-Diamonds} fell as Alner had spiked runner-runner full house to crack Kan's kings.
