The 2012 PokerStars.net APPT Macau: Asia Championship of Poker Main Event has reached Day 4, the penultimate day of play. Other notables still left in the field are Team PokerStars Pro Raymond Wu, Alan Sass, Andrew Hinrichsen and Aaron Lim.

The cards are scheduled to be in the air at 3:10 p.m. local time here in Macau, so be sure to stay tuned for all of the action coming to you shortly right here on PokerNews.

On the very first hand Henry Wang raised to 24,000 from early position, and the action was folded to Aaron Lim in the big blind. Lim enquired how much Wang had behind, and he said he started the day with 145,000.

Lim ended up moving all in, and Wang snap-called.

Henry Wang: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Aaron Lim: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The flop brought {3-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Wang still had a chance to win with running diamonds. the turn was the {5-Diamonds}, and Wang stood up rooting for another diamond. The river brought out the {4-Spades}, and the pot was split up.

Ace-King for Zhou

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

From middle position, Seungsoo Jeon opened with a raise to 11,000. Xing Zhou reraised from the next position in the hijack seat to 31,000, and action folded back to Jeon. He called to see the flop come down {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. After Jeon checked, Zhou bet 36,000. Jeon called.

The turn was the {Q-Hearts}, and both players checked. The river was the {8-Diamonds}, and both players checked again.

Zhou showed the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}, and Jeon mucked his hand.

Huynh Doubled, Kan Dented

On a {9-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} flop it was Raiden Kan who took a shot at eliminating Tri Huynh in 22nd place. Kan however wasn't in good shape when the cards were turned over.

Raiden Kan: {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Tri Huynh: {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}, {7-Diamonds} and Huynh doubled up. Just a few hands later Kan raised again after which Huynh shoved all in preflop. Kan decided to fold and he's been having a touch first level so far while Huynh is off to a great start.

Aaron Lim: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Henry Wang: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {J-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}, and Wang doubled up to a very healthy 300,000-chip stack.

Exciting Double Up for Alner

From early position, Raiden Kan raised to 11,500. Seungsoo Jeon made the call from the cutoff seat, then Xing Zhou called on the button. After that, play moved over to Tom Alner in the big blind. He reraised all in for 140,000. Kan called, then the other two folded.

Kan tabled the {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} emphatically to have Alner on the ropes with the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}.

On the flop, Alner hit an ace, but the {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{3-Spades} also gave Kan a set of kings and really dampened Alner's chances.

The turn helped Alner big time when the {A-Clubs} gave him trips and allowed him still to have a chance.

The river delivered a massive amount of excitement from everyone looking on when the {Q-Diamonds} fell as Alner had spiked runner-runner full house to crack Kan's kings.
