Raiden Kan started the day fourth in chips, but after only thirty minutes of play he's now one of the short stacks. Andrew Hinrichsen just moved all in for 89,000 chips and Kan decided to call. Seungsoo Jeon folded out of turn from the big blind, and Tri Huynh also ended up kicking his cards in. He showed that he had , but the showdown was heads up between Hinrichsen and Kan.

From under the gun plus one, Tom Alner raised to 10,500. Seungsoo Jeon from Korea made the call from the small blind, and the flop came out . After Jeon checked, Alner fired a continuation bet of 20,500. Jeon made the call.
The turn paired the board with the falling, and Jeon checked. Jeon had about 137,000 in chips when he checked fourth street, and Alner sized his bet at 50,500. Jeon check-raised all in, and Alner snapped, which meant bad news for Jeon's . Alner held a full house with the .
The river completed the board with the , and Alner won the pot. He had Jeon covered to send him to the rail in 21st place.
Alner began the day with 158,000 in chips, but has skyrocketed up the leader board and now has over half a million in chips.
From the cutoff seat, Andrew Gaw opened with a raise to 10,500. Henry Wang put in a reraise to 52,500 from the small blind, and Gaw made the call.
On the flop, Wang checked, and Gaw bet 40,000. "Make it 120,000," was the response from Wang as he check-raised to that amount. After tanking for a minute or two, Gaw made the call.
The turn was the , and Wang quickly moved all in for right around 240,000. Gaw snap-folded and did so in disgust.
Ying Kit Chan just raised to 10,000 preflop after which the last woman standing, Yuri Ishida, moved all in for 75,500. The action was folded to Gary Lam in the big blind, and after about two minutes he decided to make the call. The action was now back in Chan who quickly decided to four-bet to 151,000. Chan didn't seem too happy, but he ended up calling.
The flop brought out and Lam check-folded to Chan's shove.

The board ran out , and Ishida was knocked out while Lam took a huge hit to his stack. Chan is now among the chip leaders.
Today wasn't Raiden Kan's day. He started the day as one of the big stacks, but he was just knocked out in 19th place bringing the field down to just two tables. Kan ended up all in for his final 78,000 chips and Xing Zhou made the call.

The window card was the and Kan jumped up. He was quickly knocked down again when the showed up. Now it was Zhou's turn to show some emotion as he almost sealed the deal when the completed the flop. The on the turn did it for Kan who left the tournament area when the completed the board. Just 18 players remain, and the table draw will follow shortly.
From under the gun, Tri Huynh opened to 10,500. Action then folded to Tom Alner on the button, and he reraised to 24,500. After the two blinds folded, Huynh quickly announced that he was all in. Alner asked how much, but when he saw it was for around 245,000, gave up his hand, and Huynh won the pot.
From under the gun, Jacques Zaicik limped in. Henry Wang limped on the button, then Team PokerStars Pro Raymond Wu called from the small blind. Michael Kanaan checked his option in the big blind, and the flop came down . Action was checked by the first three players over to Wang on the button, and he bet 25,000. Everyone folded, and Wang scooped the pot.
From middle position, Andrew Gaw raised to 10,000. Paolo Compagno made the call on the button, and Tri Huynh made the call from the small blind. The flop came out , and all three players checked through to see the land on the turn. After Huynh checked, Gaw fired 20,000. Compagno raised to 45,000, and Huynh folded. Gaw also folded, and Compagno won the pot.
Action folded to Team PokerStars Pro Raymond Wu in the cutoff seat, and he kicked things off with a min-raise to 10,000. Jacques Zaicik called out of the small blind, and Mike Watson made the call from the big blind.
The three players were presented with a paired flop, and action was checked by the two blinds. Wu subtly tossed out 15,000, and both of his opponents folded.
