Nine Levels Today

Tournament Director Danny McDonagh has just announced that there will be nine levels played today. Play is scheduled to finish at 1:10 am (GMT +8) local time and recommence at 2 pm tomorrow.

Torelli Catches a Break

We caught this hand on the flop of {K-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

Online poker pro Alec Torelli led out for 2,250 and David Chase moved all in for 6,300 from the button. Torelli went into the tank for what seemed like an eternity and then just as he looked like he had decided to fold, he made the call. Chase showed {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} for middle set and Torelli opened {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}.

The turn of {A-Diamonds} gave Torelli the miracle he needed and with the river {2-Diamonds} Chase was eliminated and Torelli took his stack to 19,300.

"Boondy" Out!

Emad Tahtouh

The button raises to 600 and Emad "Boondy" Tahtouh moves all in for 4,650 from the small blind. John King makes the call from the big blind and the button folds.

Emad shows {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.
King has {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}.

The window card is the {8-Hearts} giving Emad top pair on a flop of {5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}. The turn card is the {6-Diamonds} and Emad shouts out "Split, split, I'm happy to split!" Emad can only laugh when the {Q-Spades} hits the river, giving King a bigger pair and sending Emad to the rail.

Negreanu Out!

After it's folded to him in the cutoff, Negreanu raises to 500 and is called by Brett Miller on the button. They see a flop of {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

Negreanu moves all in for his last 2,200 and is immediately called by Miller with his {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}. Negreanu shows {A-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

The turn {J-Clubs} and river {Q-Spades} don't help and Team PokerStars member Daniel "Kid Poker" Negreanu is on the rail and heading straight to the golf course.
