We arrived at the table to see the player under the gun open with a raise. Chris Failimli then three bet to 1,800 from middle position before Mayra Polar moved all in for her remaining 5,550 in chips.
The table folded back around to the original raiser who folded. Failimli quickly called and both players tabled their cards.

Unfortunately for Polar she had run into the superior over pair and couldn’t improve when the board ran out .
2011 Aussie Millions champ David Gorr has managed to double up.
We found him all in for around 8,000 with on a flop. Gorr’s opponent had called him with and Gorr scooped up the double when the turn and the river were dealt on the board.
Akush Mazumdar opened to 900 from middle position and was called by Angela Brewer in late position and Jane Peters in the cut off. Ia Rimamaaki was on the button and moved all in for his last 4,175. Mazumdar folded before both ladies in the hand made the call to see the flop come down .
The action was then checked down to the river before all three players tabled their cards. Rimamaaki showed his which had flopped a set and won against Brewer’s and Peters’ .
Danny “Brotha D” Leaoasavaii returned from the break to around 10,000 in chips after falling to just 5,000 towards the end of the last level. We investigated and found out that he doubled up when all in preflop with against and hit two pair.
The players are back from their break and the cards are in the air.
Four more levels on Day 1c of the APPT Auckland Main Event.

We arrived to find him faced with an all in shove from Angela Brewer. It was around 35,000 and Leaoasavaii looked like he was agonising over the call. Leaoasavaii only had around 40,000 behind so it was for most of his stack.
Eventually he called and tabled .
Leaoasavaii’s fears were met when Brewer showed .
The board ran out and Leaoasavaii was left short, while Brewer was one of the chip leaders.
