Jimmy Pan, a former APPT Macau runner up, raised to 1,800 and he was called by last year's runner-up in this event, Chane Kampanatsanyakorn. Another player joined the action and the flop brought out .
Pan bet and Kampanatsanyakorn called, according to the Thai player, and on the turn, when a popped up, the remainder of the chips went into the pot.
Pan tabled for a straight and flush draw, but he was already drawing dead against Kampanatsanyakorn's . Pan was knocked out and Kampanatsanyakorn sits on a good stack heading into the final stages of the day.

Juicy Li raised to 1,700 from middle position and Ryan Pignatelli called from her immediate left. Dylan Honeyman was next to act and he three-bet to 5,200 and quickly the action folded back to Li.
Li, who made the final table of this event last year placing in sixth, tanked for a bit before making the call. Pignatelli folded and the action went heads up to the flop.
The flop brought out and Li lead out for 6,500 and Honeyman made the call. On the turn the hit and Li moved all in for 23,200, which put Honeyman into the tank for quite a while. Eventually Honeyman folded and Li raked in this hefty pot.
