With two limpers in the pot, Grant Levy popped it up to 325 and found one caller. They took a flop of {10-Diamonds}

and it was checked to Levy, who fired 525. His opponent then check-raised to 1,500, which Levy called.

The turn was the {K-Clubs}

and again it was checked to Levy who this time fired out 1,250, forcing a fold from his opponent. Levy flashed the {6-Spades}

as he raked in the chips.

"That was hot!" remarked Jonny Vincent. "This is going to be a fun table I think!"

Levy is now up to 10,200 in chips.

Two queens are not a problem for Ron Kluber. Kluber recently found bullets in his gun and used them to shoot dead the lovely ladies of one of his opponents.

After the opponent raised preflop, Kluber got crafty and just called the raise, rather than putting in another raise himself. The flop was a perfect ten-high ragged flop. Kluber's opponent bet 1,000 before Kluber sprung his well-laid trap with a raise to 3,000. His opponent moved all in and Kluber made the call. His aces were best over his opponent's queens and stayed that way through the river.

Kluber, who finished 29th in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas, now has 22,000.

Juanda Turns Nuts, Rivers Split

John Juanda held the nuts on the turn with his {5-Hearts}

when the board read {4-Clubs}

and fired 1,300 which two players called.

Unfortunately for Juanda the river brought the {5-Spades}

and sparked a three-way all-in, with both of Juanda's opponents tabling a six for the same straight! Chop it up!

Josh Pang Ang on Life Support

Josh Pang Ang, who was runner-up in the 2006 Singapore Championship Event, is in today's field but may not be for much longer after taking a huge blow to his stack.

The board read {Q-Clubs}

and Ang's opponent flipped {K-Clubs}

which were too good. Ang is down to only 1,000 chips.

Small Pot for "Strong Play"

Joel Dodds has come out firing. He raised to 300 from late position and was called by only the small blind. On a flop of {Q-Hearts}

, he made a continuation bet of 550 only to see the small blind check-raise him to 1,100. He made the call.

The turn was the {4-Clubs}

, a seeming blank. The small blind checked, apparently giving up on the hand. Dodds took the opportunity to bet 2,100, which folded the small blind.

Dodds now has about 13,500.

Tran Gets Busy

Kenny Tran hasn't wasted any time getting to work. After raising from the cutoff, Tran took a heads-up flop of {2-Clubs}

. The player in the big blind checked to Tran who fired 300. The big blind quickly called. The turn brought the {K-Clubs}

and Tran's bet of 700 was also called. The river landed the {J-Spades}

and Tran fired a third bullet worth 1,500. Once again he was called and his {Q-Clubs}

made a flush which was good to take down the pot.

The very next hand, Tran raised to 275 from the hijack position and was called by the player on the button. They saw a flop of {10-Spades}

and Tran led for 400. The button made it 1,000 and Tran riffled his chips before making the call. The turn brought the {2-Hearts}

and both players checked. The river landed the {A-Clubs}

and again both checked. Tran showed {K-Diamonds}

for a pair of tens to take it down.

Tran is now up to 14,500 chips.

Overheard at the Tables

Julian Powell just told a player at a neighboring table that he wanted to gamble. "Where's the baccarat tables?" Powell asked.

Powell's neighbor just shook his head. "If you can't find a baccarat table here..." he said, trailing off.

Terrence Chan isn't saying much of anything. As soon as he showed up to the tournament, he ordered a cheeseburger and fries, which he is currently wolfing down.

Ron Kluber is discussing second-tier Korean construction firms with a Korean player at his table.

One of the Australian players remarked that many of the Aussies playing today satellited into the tournament from pub poker leagues back in Australia.

Kinkade Opens a Lead

Jay Kinkade has been very active at his table. He recently raised three straight hands, then came in for a raise a fourth time to 225 after one player had limped into the pot from early position. Kinkade found a caller in late position before the small blind reraised to 1,250. Action folded back to Kinkade, who put in the third raise to 3,225.

After the late-position caller folded, the small blind eyed Kinkade's stack and asked for a rough count. He determined that he had Kinkade covered and moved all in. Kinkade peeked at his cards one last time before calling.

Kinkade:

The board ran out {A-Hearts}

, making Kinkade the winner with kings full of deuces. He now has about 23,000.

Another Late Arrival

One of the most recognized poker professionals in the United States as well as the Asian region is Kenny Tran who has just made a late arrival into today's tournament and finds himself at the same table as John Juanda.
