Dinner Break

The players are now heading on their 70-minute dinner break.

Join us at 9:00pm local time to catch all the action as we make our way to the final table.

Lieu Mixing It Up Just Before Dinner

Liz Lieu was in two hands just before dinner. Sitting in the big blind, she called a raise to 12,500 from Susumu Toge. The players checked the board all the way to the river. There, with the board reading {7-Diamonds} {k-Diamonds} {q-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {5-Clubs}, Toge bet 8,000. Lieu tanked for more than a minute before making the call. Toge showed {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} for the winner.

The next hand, Ron Kluber raised the button to 16,000. Lieu moved in for 68,500 from the small blind. Kluber thought it over for about a minute and a half before mucking nines face up.

Vicente Pena limped in from late position and Neil Arce made it 17,000 to go from the cutoff, with Michael Pedley calling out of the blinds to Pena.

On a flop of {4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} Pedley led out for 23,000 before Pena moved all in for 61,000. With the action now on Arce he moved all in as well for 140,000. Pedley asked for a count before eventually folding his hand.

Pena: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Arce: {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

The turn fell the {2-Spades} and river the {3-Spades} to see Pena head to the rail in 17th place as Arce climbs to over 280,000 in chips.

Toge Doubles through Kastle

Susumu Toge was in the big blind for a hand in which Steve Sung limped in from the cutoff and Casey Kastle raised from the button to 25,000. Toge seemed to be contemplating raising or folding. After thirty seconds he opted to raise, bringing a snap-fold from Sung.

Kastle asked for a count. When he was told it would be 35,500 more to call, he made the call and opened {9-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}. Toge showed {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}. He was out of his chair, shouting for an ace, but the flop missed both players, {4-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn gave Kastle a flush draw to go with his live pair outs, bu he missed everything with the {8-Hearts} river.

Toge now has about 131,000.

Hearn Doubles through Leikos

Vesa Leikos was the initial aggressor, opening to 10,500. Action passed to Eddie Hearn on the button. He moved all in for 41,500, folding both blinds. Leikos started to tank.

"We started on the same table," said Hearn. "Let's finish this." Leikos made no decision.

"I must have you crushed if you're tanking this long," Hearn added. He finally asked for a clock. After another thirty seconds, Leikos called.

"Here, I have you smashed," said Hearn, showing {A-Hearts} {K-Spades}.

"You sure do," Leikos replied as he tabled {K-Clubs} {J-Hearts}.

"King jack?!" Hearn asked incredulously. The dealer didn't wait fo a reply before dealing out a board of {2-Spades} {5-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}. That gave each player a pair of kings, but the pot went to Hearn because of his better kicker.

"I'm back in the game boys," said Hearn. "That was like a charity donation."
