Rheem Running Bad Today

After busting from the Main Event in the first level David "Chino" Rheem has been on absolute roller-coaster against his opponent Graeme "KiwiG" Putt.

After losing the first match to Putt, Rheem made amends when he eliminated Putt with {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} on a board of {9-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{A-Clubs} all in on the flop with Putt holding {K-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

With it level at one apiece, Rheem would fall in the second match when after raising to 300, Putt reraised to 1,800. Rheem announced, "I'll gamble with you," and pushed the last of his 2,600 stack into the pot with Putt making the call.

Putt: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Rheem: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The board fell {9-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts} to see Rheem head to the rail for the second time with Putt progressing through to face Lee Nelson or Sam Higgs.

How It All Works

Each player starts with 3,000 in chips and plays 20-minute levels beginning at 25-50 and progressing through.

To progress through you must win two out of your three matches. The winner will then take a 5,000 starting bank into Round Two, and play will continue in the same format.

Solomon vs. Obst

Jarred Solomon and James "Andy McLEOD" Obst have just completed their matches and are taking a break before they play against each other.

Sorel Mizzi is currently deadlocked and onto his third match against Tony Bloom, while Alexander Kostritsyn has just claimed his first match.
