Le Stacked But Gaining Back Chips

Le back on the rise

Chris Moorman opened to 125 on the button and Nam Le made the call. On a flop of {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} Le checked and Moorman led out for 125, before Le check-raised to 425 with Moorman making the call.

The turn landed the {A-Spades} and Le led for 675, with Moorman making the call. Le checked the {2-Spades} on the river and as Moorman sat in the tank for over two minutes, he eventually moved all in for his last 1,650. It was now Le's turn to sit in the tank, and after a few minutes also he made the call.

Moorman showed {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Le mucked leaving himself with only 250 in chips.

Le managed a double-up the next hand with {J-Spades}{5-Hearts} against the {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} of Moorman, and then again on the hand following with {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades} to Moorman's {K-Spades}{8-Spades}. With blinds just increasing to 50-100 Le still has some room to breath to try and rescue his match.

Timoshenko Takes Upper Hand

In what seems to be the toughest match so far in Round One, Yevgeniy Timoshenko has taken a slight edge from Eddy Sabat when his {2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} was paid off on the river by Sabat with a board that fell ace high and with three clubs on it.

Will this be the marathon match of Round One? We can only wait to see . . .

Chris Ferguson has just been crippled by John Tabatabai. Ferguson holding {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} was rivered by Tabatabai's {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} all in preflop with the board running out {9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{A-Hearts}.

A few hands later Tabatabai took the remaining 400 in chips of Ferguson as they moved on to Round Two.
