Play Resumes

The players are back and happily in the money. The plan is today to play five two-hour levels or until we reach 18 players, whichever comes first.

Dawley Dominates Raymond

Robert Raymond has been sent to the rail in 68th place in a huge clash with Jessica Dawley.

The chips went in on the turn on a board of {K-Hearts}{2-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds} with Raymond moving all in with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} to put Dawley to a huge decision, but she made the call with a dominating {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}.

Dawley couldn't watch as she ran over and ducked down in a corner of the room with her hoodie pulled up over her head! She didn't need to worry as the river fell the {a-Spades} to give Dawley two pair.

After a count down of their stacks, Dawley just had Raymond covered and he was eliminated in 68th place as Dawley jumps to 330,000.

Free Falling

Steven Friedlander has just dropped to 187,000 in chips after doubling up Tyler Bonkowski in a recent hand.

Bonkowski open-shoved all in for about 60,000 and Friedlander made the call holding {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}; Bonkowski tabled {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}.

The board then ran out {2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Bonkowski's aces held, sending him up to right around 120,000.

A Hansen Hand

Preflop, Gus Hansen raised to 12,000 from early position and found two callers, including Jason Pritchard and Annette Obrestad on the button.

All three players checked the {4-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} flop and the free {A-Diamonds} hit the turn. Hansen led out for 18,000 and found one call from Pritchard as Obrestad stepped aside.

The river was the {Q-Spades} and Hansen thought for a long time before splashing 55,000 into the middle. Pritchard folded and Hansen chips up with a small pot.

Wenigwieser Sends Kelly Packing

On a board showing {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}, J.P. Kelly led out with a 24,000 bet and [Removed:297] called in position.

The river delivered the {J-Clubs} and Kelly open-shoved all in. Wenigwieser snap called, tabling {A-Spades}{5-Spades} for the nuts and Kelly open-mucks pocket fives, leaving the tournament as our 67th place finisher ($15,000 AUD).

After the hand, Wenigwieser stacked up 480,000 in chips.

Dirty Socks

Socko Bardosz got it all in before the flop holding a pocket pair of deuces, running full speed into Joel Dodds' pocket aces.

The ensuing board ran out {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Dodds' aces held up, kicking him up to 240,000 in chips.

Bardosz, meanwhile, will take home $15,000 AUD for his 66th place finish.

McCormack Finds The Right Key

James Keys is the next to go after raising preflop from the hijack and then calling off his last chips when Trevor McCormack moved all in from the big blind.

McCormack: {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Keys: {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

It was a good call by Keys but the result wasn't what he was looking for as the board was spread {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. McCormack makes a flush and send Keys to the cashier. Meanwhile McCormack is up to 465,000 chips.

O'Brien Drops to 30k

On a board showing {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, William Skountzos moved all in for his last 48,000 and was called by Paul O'Brien. Skountzos tabled {A-?}{8-?} for top two pair and was well ahead of O'Brien's {A-?}{3-?}.

With one card to come, O'Brien could've caught a four to make a wheel, but the river blanked sending the pot -- worth about 155,000 -- over to Skountzos.
