Feldman Wamboozles Phua

Level 9 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

There was a shout of "all in, and call" just as play resumed from break at the secondary table. When we got to the table, the board was reading {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, and Andrew Feldman was at risk holding {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} against the monster draw of Paul Phua's {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

The {5-Clubs} turn card was a good one for Feldman, and the {10-Diamonds} river prompted a big fist pump from the young Full Tilt pro.

John Juanda commented that it was a "great flop" for Phua, as Phua slid his last 7,500 into the next pot. Benyamine called from the small blind, and Andrew Feldman decided to take on the role of executor alone, raising it up to 31,000 from the big blind. Benyamine folded, and Phua flipped over {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, which was dominated by Feldman's {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. The {3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Clubs} board made Feldman a straight, and eliminated the high stakes gambler from this $250k event.

Feldman is now on about 440,000.

Trickett Looking Unstoppable

Level 9 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Every time we look over at the secondary table, it seems like Sam Trickett's got chips in the middle and forcing folds.

The latest session of "Watch Sam Scoop Chips" saw the board reading {2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and Nioklay Evdakov calling a 60,000 bet from Trickett, swelling the total pot to about 170,000.

The river was the {j-Hearts}, and Trickett wasted no time tossing out six brown 25k chips, making it 150,000 to call. Evdakov, glasses on and all, thought long and hard about what to do. He held the chips required to make the call in his hand, as the dealer counted down the time. Finally at five seconds, Evdakov mucked, sending another healthy batch of chips over to Trickett's stack.

Trickett Calls Down Qiang

Level 9 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Wang Qiang raised it up to 37,000 and Sam Trickett made the call in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Trickett checked to Qiang, who bet 56,000. Trickett studied the board, and then made the call.

The turn was the {q-Clubs}, and Trickett checked to Qiang again, who bet 127,000. Our fearless chip leader didn't take long and made the call.

The river was the {6-Diamonds}, and for a third straight time Trickett checked to Qiang. This time however, Qiang checked as well and mucked his hand, after Trickett showed {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the win.

Trickett now is sitting with close to 1.5 million.
