Jordanou Finds a Double

Level 6 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Just before the blinds went up, James Obst raised from the button to 9,000. Nikolay Evdakov called from the small blind and Billy Jordanou reraised to 31,000 from the big blind. Obst folded, but Evdakov came along to see the flop.

The flop came down {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{2-Hearts} after Evdakov had checked in the dark. Jordanou tanked before betting all of his chips. He was all in for 54,000 and met with a quick call from Evdakov.

Evdakov: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Jordanou: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and the river the {4-Spades}. Jordanou's nines held up and he was able to double up to 180,000 or so. Evdakov dropped back to 270,000.

The turn brought the {4-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {10-Spades} fall on the river. Obst bet 18,000 and Seidel called. Obst tabled the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}, but that was no good against Seidel's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}.

Level 5 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Dan Smith
Dan Smith

From the hi-jack, Sam Trickett opened with a raise only to have Dan Smith come over the top from the button.

Trickett responded with a four-bet only to have Smith move all in for his last 105,000 as Trickett made the call.

Smith: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Trickett: {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The flop of {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop gave Trickett the lead but left Smith with plenty of outs to improve.

The {K-Clubs} on the turn reduced Smith's outs by a few, and after the {8-Spades} completed the board, he was forced to vacate the tournament area as Trickett moved to 635,000 in chips.

Lindgren checked, and Steicke pushed out a bet of 26,000 which Lindgren called before both players tapped the table when the {K-Clubs} arrived.

Cates DONG'd

Level 5 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Daniel Cates opened with one of his usual 8,000-chip min-raises from the button only to have Jonathan Karamalikis three-bet to 22,000 from the big blind.

Cates responded by moving all in and Karamalikis quickly called.

Chris Ferguson pointed out that it was pot limit, but both players shrugged as they the desired outcome was still there.

Cates: {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Karamalikis: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The {8-Spades} in the window furthered Cates lead before it was followed by the {Q-Hearts} and {j-Clubs}.

The {7-Spades} on the turn changed little, and after the {3-Diamonds} landed on the river, Cates was forced to make his way to the rail as the Full Tilt Poker Red Pro that plays under the moniker of xMONSTERxDONGx moves to roughly 225,000 in chips.
