Welcome back for Day 3 of the 2011 Aussie Millions Main Event! Today's going to be another great day of poker down under, but for four unfortunate players, they'll be leaving us empty handed as only 72 of the remaining 76 will make the money.
Heading the pack into Day 3 is Randy Dorfman. With over $700,000 in live tournament winnings, Dorfman is no stranger to big money tournaments. His largest score came at the 2009 EPT Monte Carlo High Roller Championship where he came second for €420,000. He also ran deep in the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event, finishing in 82nd place for just under $80,000.
There are still plenty of other big names left in the field wielding large stacks including Tobias Reinkemeier (533,500), Sorel Mizzi (489,000), Randy Lew (484,000) and Team Full Tilt Poker's own Patrik Antonius (428,500). Mizzi final tabled this very event last year, finishing in third place. He'll be looking to score back-to-back final table runs. Antonius' highest placing in the Aussie Millions Main Event was in 2007 where he finished in 13th spot.
Play kicks off at 12:30 P.M. local time and you can bet the action will be fast and furious right from the get go. Stay tuned to PokerNews for all the action!
