Ivey Spikes a Four
From middle position, Sorel Mizzi raised to 1,500. Tom Dwan called from the cutoff seat, Daniel Cates called from the button, Phil Ivey called from the small blind and then Dan Shak closed the preflop action with a call from the big blind.
With 7,500 in the middle, the flop came down and action checked to Mizzi. He bet 5,500 before Dwan and Cates got out of the way. Ivey tossed in the call and then play fell on Shak. On the final hand, Ivey was all in with the and had Shak dominated with the . Shak flopped a seven to win the hand and held from there to win the tournament. This hand here gives Ivey a tiny bit of revenge.
