The remaining 85 players are on their final 15-minute break of the evening.

Oh There's Obst

James Obst is one of the most famous Australian poker player, but yet we had a hard time finding him today. The big pot he just played against chip leader Brian Payne put him in the spotlights, and we know where to find "Andy McLEOD" from now on!

Elliot Smith kicked things off by raising to 1,200 and Brian Payne called. Obst three-bet to 4,100 and only Payne called. The flop came down {5-Hearts}{J-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Payne check-called 5,300.

On the turn the {6-Diamonds} hit and Payne checked again. Obst moved all in for 41,300 and Payne went into the tank for several minutes. Finally he decided to call and Obst reluctantly showed his {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}. Payne showed {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and Obst got up out of his chair. He didn't have to go just yet as the river brought the {9-Hearts} giving him a straight.

Micah Raskin opened to 1,500 from middle position, Richard Ashby called on the button, and Jackie Glazier defended her big blind. The dealer fanned {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, Glazier checked, Raskin continued for 2,000, and only Ashby called.

The turn was the {9-Spades}, Raskin tossed out four teal T1,000 chips, and Ashby called.

The {j-Spades} completed the board, and Raskin fired 7,000. Ashby quickly called. Raskin tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a set of nines, and Ashby mucked.

Quite Quiet

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

The action has been pretty quite in the last half hour as there's still more than two hours of play left in the day. Currently there are 88 players remaining with the average stack at 53,181 or 88 big blinds.

O'Dea Rebuilding

After being crippled down to just 12,000 chips, 2011 World Series of Poker November Niner Eoghan O'Dea is back above the starting stack.

A player opened to 1,500 in middle position, another player called on his left, and Raj Ramakrishnan and O'Dea called from the blinds. The flop fell {2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and the action checked to the original raiser. He continued for 3,500, the player in position folded, and Ramakrishnan called. O'Dea put in a check-raise, making it 8,000 to go, and both of his opponents folded.

O'Dea now sits with 35,000 chips.
