"Hong Kong" Kenny Wong on the rail to support his girlfriend Jay Tan.

After a series of bets and raises, Jay Tan was all in for around 550,000 with {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. She was racing against the {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} of Mervin Chan, and the flop fell {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Spades}. No help to Tan.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds}, giving her a straight draw, and the {j-Clubs} spiked on the river to give her Broadway.

She excitedly high fived a friend on the rail, then raked in the million-chip pot. Chan was reduced to 2.89 million chips.

Tan vs. Yan Round 4

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Action folded to Jay Tan in the small blind and she opened for 50,000, which [Removed:17] called from the big. Yan proceeded to call bets of 65,000 on both the {10-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop and {8-Clubs} turn, and then Tan fired out 100,000 on the {10-Clubs} river. This time Yan opted to raise to 275,000, and Tan made the call with {K-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Unfortunately for her, Yan had rivered a flush with {Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

Chan Takes a Big Pot Off Cabret

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Joseph Cabret, who was in the big blind, checked a flop of {6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts} and opened the door for Mervin Chan, who was under the gun, to bet 70,000. Jay Tan folded from the button, Cabret called, and the dealer burned and turned the {10-Diamonds}. Cabret checked, Chan bet 155,000, and then Cabret woke up with a check-raise to 430,000.

Chan made the call and then Cabret check-called a bet of 575,000 on the {8-Spades} river. Chan showed {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for a set, and it was good as Cabret could only muster two pair with {J-}{10-}.

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The dealer fanned {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, and Tan checked. Yan continued for 174,000, and Tan folded.

Yan tabled the {2-Diamonds}, then raked in the pot.

Cabret Gets Out of the Way

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Three players saw a flop of {5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and [Removed:17] checked to Joseph Cabret, who bet 30,000. Mervin Chan called, Yan check-raised to 126,000, and Cabret called. Chan opted to get out of the way and it was heads-up action to the {10-Clubs} turn, which both players checked. When the {J-Hearts} peeled off on the river, Yan led out for 205,000 and Cabret got out of the way.

Cohen Ships and Shak Calls

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Action folded around to Dan Shak in the small blind and he raised to 50,000. Sam Cohen was in the big blind and responded by moving all in for 790,000, and Shak made the call.

Shak: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Cohen: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

It was a classic flip, but not after the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Cohen flopped a set and took a commanding lead in the hand. With that said, about the worst possible cards for her, the {9-Diamonds}, appeared on the turn as it gave Shak both a flush draw and an open-ended straight draw. The railbirds, who've been 2-3 people deep the entire day, leaned in close as the dealer burned one last time and out out the {4-Hearts}. Shak missed his plethora of outs and Cohen doubled on the hand.

Shak Takes a Hit

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

We caught the action on the river with a board reading {7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Jarrod Glennon had bet 154,000 from the small blind and Dan Shak pushed back with a raise to 400,000 from the big. Glennon called and showed down {A-Clubs}{6-Spades} for two pair, which was good against Shak's {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.
