Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu raised to 95,000 in the hijack seat, Tom Dwan called in the cutoff, Phil Ivey called on the button, and both blinds released. The flop fell {3-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Spades}, the trio checked, and the turn was the {4-Clubs}.

Negreanu led out for 160,000, Dwan called, and Ivey folded.

The {2-Hearts} completed the board, Negreanu checked, and Dwan reached for chocolate T25,000 chips. He ultimately thought better of it, checking behind, and Negreanu showed {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for a straight.

Ivey and Haxton Back at It

Level 13 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Isaac Haxton opened for 95,000 and Phil Ivey called from the big blind. Haxton then led out for 160,000 on the {4-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Ivey called, and the dealer burned and turned the {5-Diamonds}.

Haxton kept the pressure on with a bet of 500,000, and this time it worked as Ivey sent his hand to the muck.

Quoss Makes Quads to Double Through Durrrr

Level 13 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to Tom "durrrr" Dwan in the small blind and he moved all in to put the pressure on a short-stacked Fabian Quoss in the big. The German looked down at his cards, liked what he saw, and called off.

Quoss: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Dwan: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}

Quoss woke up with a legitimate hand, and his spot got even better when the flop came down {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. The {K-Spades} turn delivered Dwan a Broadway draw to a ten, but it failed to come in. Instead the {Q-Clubs} peeled off on the river to give Quoss quads and the double.
