On the table of Eric Theissen, Kyle White flipped against a short stack with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} versus {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} and the flop {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{A-Hearts} was more than just a small step towards victory. The short stack needed two magic sixes in the deck to avoid elimination, but found no help on {J-Hearts} turn and {7-Clubs} river.

Theissen stood up soon after and left the tournament after being knocked out.

Gubieski snap-called with an even stack and flipped over {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. His opponent only held {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}, but the flop {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} was some magic. Neither the {Q-Spades} turn nor the {4-Spades} river changed anything and the kings of Gubieski were cracked in brutal fashion.
