From tomorrow on its no more Ground Hog Day, but today the players have one last chance to get to that stage. It's time for Day 1c of the 2016 Aussie Millions Poker Championship Main Event!

Another 7 levels are scheduled, each and every one of them 90-minutes long. After each level there's a 15-minute break, with a 75-minute dinner break after the fourth level. Players start with a stack of 30,000 at blinds 50/100. The last level of the night will be 300/600.

A total of 180 players signed up for Day 1a on Sunday and yesterday's Day 1b saw 207 players compete, making for a total of 389 right now. Day 1c is traditionally the busiest so we expect a packed Crown poker room today. Amongst the players in the field we expect the six finalists of the $100,000 Challenge. Connor Drinan, Fedor Holz, Jason Mercier, Sam Greenwood, Fabian Quoss and Ben Tollerene all made the final table of that illustrious event late last night, but the final stage of that tournament won't be played till Saturday. That means they have all the time in the world to compete in the Main Event, and today is the day to do it!

The tournament's last starting day starts at 12:30pm local time (about 90 minutes from now), and you know where to find all the updates. Indeed, it's right here on PokerNews.com!
