Troy Tsagaris Eliminated in 82nd Place

Tyler Cornell opened the pot with a 10,000 pre-flop raise and Troy Tsagaris countered by shoving his last 31,500 into the middle. Cornell made the call and tabled {K-Spades}{9-Clubs}; Troy flipped over {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for a slight lead.

The {9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{K-Diamonds} flop gave the underdog Cornell two pair and a monster lead in the hand. Tsagaris picked up four outs for a straight when the {J-Clubs} fell on the turn, but missed when the {7-Hearts} came on the river.

Cornell stacked up 175,500 in chips after the hand and Tsagaris' elimination leaves us with 81 players - just one away from the money!

Cornell {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The flop was {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Con Angelakis pounded the table and announced that he had folded an ace to Cornell's re-raise. The turn was the {3-Spades}, and the {Q-Hearts} spiked on the river, eliminating Sexton just short of the money.

Jirair Ebeyan Makes Incredible Laydown

After significant pre-flop action, Robert Holster pushed all in on a flop of {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for a total of 131,000. Jirair Ebeyan went into the tank to consider a decision that was virtually for his tournament life.

A crowd gathered around the table and eventually Ebeyan folded {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} face up to the amazement of the whole table! Holster was the one in the most shock as he flashed {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and the table simply applauded an incredible fold! Ebeyan's astounding play may soon be worth AU$15,000 cash to him as Holster rakes in the chips, rueing the one that got away!
