Sam Sayed thought he had been busted out of today's event and left the poker room to lick his wounds. However apparently after a big all in clash, he still had around 1,000 chips left. We believe he received a phone call from a friend to let him know he was still alive, and he returned to find his stack was blinded down to around 500 chips.
Remarkably Sayed then pushed hard with his short stack, managing to double up several times and now has around 4,500 in chips!

"The Hoon" had however Sachinidis was freerolling with for the nut straight plus the nut flush draw. The turn was the and river and the large pot was chopped up!
Josh "JJProdigy" Field held A-K-4-Q against his opponent's Q-Q-8-9 on a board of . The money went in on the turn and Field's nut straight was good to scoop a nice pot.
Players may rebuy at any point during the first two levels of today's play when their chip stack is 3,000 chips or less. Each rebuy costs $3,000 and players will receive an extra 3,000 in chips. The first two levels run for 45 minutes each, at which point the rebuy period ends and players will have the option of a single add-on regardless of their chip count. Following the break blind levels will return to 60 minute levels for the remainder of the event.
This is a one-day event, so we'll be playing right through today until we crown a winner!
