Johnny Landreth was in the hijack and raised to 175,000 with . Brian Arbaugh was on the button with and three-bet to 300,000, roughly one-third of his stack. The blinds folded and Landreth called, bringing the flop where Landreth checked and then called Arbaugh's continuation-bet of 175,000.

The turn came and Landreth checked again. Arbaugh jammed for his last 435,000 and Landreth immediately called. No ace came on the river and Arbaugh finished in sixth place as a result.

Landreth Turns a Set

Billy Cashwell Gets Outright Win in Event #5: $360 NLH Monster Stack

The bestbet Jacksonville Spring Series Event #5 was a $360 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack that drew 194 entries to create a $59,170 prize pool, and Billy Cashwell made like his name as he bested the field to claim the $13,784 that was up top.

Twenty-five players made it into the money, and when that number became eight, Stephen Randy of Barnesville OH was the first elimination of the final table, earning $1,718. All remaining players then locked up at least $2,000, with local favorite Kelly Slay finding herself the next out in seventh.

Fourth-place finisher Alan Franco made the final table of this event for the second consecutive series, finishing two rungs higher on the payout ladder than his sixth-place finish in January's Winter Open.

Landreth had 610,000 behind and thought for about 20 seconds before looking back at his cards and sending them onto the table face-up for all to see.

Holladay Runs Into a Bigger Pair

The river fell and Holladay reached for chips once more. He bet 200,000, nearly one-third of his stack and Ferro took a few moments, looking back at his cards before raising to 400,000.
