The tournament director just announced that registration is closed for the $1,500+150 heads-up event, as each of the 64 (not 128, as we were erroneously told earlier) spots has been filled.
Play begins in 15 minutes, and each player will start with 20,000. Levels will last 20 minutes, and stacks will reset for each match. Play will begin today and end tomorrow.
We're going to bring you the matchups as they draw them. Winners of each pair of matchups will face off in round two.

Joseph Stiers raised to 400, and Nick Guagenti made it 1,400 from the big blind. Stiers came back with a four-bet to 3,400, and Guagenti folded, giving his opponent an early lead.
