Day 2 of Event #3: $500 Deepstack Black Chip Bounty NLH starts at noon local time at the Event Center in the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. The event attracted a whopping 1,165 entries which guaranteed a massive $250,000 guaranteed prize pool for the $500 buy-in. Out of all those entries, a mere 170 players have made it through to the final day with the prize pool details to be announced.
Cody Wells will come into the day with the chip lead as he bagged 1,108,000 in chips. He is followed in the chip counts by Phong Nguyen, Jianming Zeng, Nir Shami, and Erik Cajelais.
When they players return at noon local time in Saturday, January 18, they will resume play with Level 14 which features a small blind of 2,000, big blind of 4,000, and big blind ante of 4,000. Level duration will remain at 45 minutes each and a 15-minute break has been scheduled after every three levels.
Play will continue until a winner has been crowned and the PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand from start to end so follow along!

The dealers have been instructed to shuffle up and deal after the 170 players have taken their seats for Day 2.
The prize pool details have been confirmed by the organization: with 1,165 entries, a total prize pool of $395,518 has been created which surpassed the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool easily. One hundred and ten players will walk away with at least $744 and any bounties they have collected while the winner will take at least $86,118 home with him with a pretty trophy to match.
