2016 Cash Game Festival London

Day 4 Completed

Another Great Day at Aspers Casino

While the two feature tables ended, the action is still hot and heavy at Aspers Casino with almost 20 tables in action. The VIP party is about to end at The Bat and Ball, with some likely to head back onto the poker tables in the casino.

Tomorrow will be the final day of the 2016 Cash Game Festival London. At 2:00 p.m. (BST), many players will be heading on an organized city tour of London while many others will still be playing from the night before or just starting their poker sessions for the day.

Last Hand on the Feature Table is a Big One

Big hand to end the £5/£10 no-limit hold'em feature table. Gang Wang limped in for £10 from late position with {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Krzvsztof Spisak-Spisacki raised the action to £35 from the button with {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Riccardo Suriano made things more interesting by three-betting to £105 with {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} from the small-blind. Wang tossed his hand into the muck while Spisak-Spisacki called.

Both players checked on the {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop, however, the action changed when the {j-Diamonds} hit the turn with Suriano leading out for £125. Sfter a little thought, Spisak-Spisacki called.

The board completed when the {A-Hearts} appeared on the river. This time Suriano checked. Spisak-Spisacki bet £375 into a pot of £460 in an attempt to get his opponent to fold with a bluff. Usually queen-high would be a tough hand to call with, but after some thought Suriano made the hero call and was awarded with a pot of over £1,200.

Komarova Shared, "I Regret That Bluff, But Maybe Not"

Maret Komarova
Maret Komarova

Slotsmillions pro Maret Komarova is just off the feature table and is looking forward to the VIP party at The Bat and Ball. Komarova has been there coincidentally every day playing table tennis with friends from past Cash Game Festivals.

Komarova played table tennis seriously when she was a kid. Her skills came in handy during the prior Cash Game Festival in London when she took second place in the table tennis competition.

Today was Komarova's second feature table, and every time we had a look it seemed she was holding pocket aces and getting value from them. She won about £260 but it could have been more if not for a bluff against her friend Kalle Fagerstrom.

"I regret that bluff a little bit, but maybe not," shared Komarova before adding, "if you watched the stream and are nearby, please give me some feedback."

Obviously with friends on the table, many laughs were had, and Komarova was visibly having fun while playing.

"The feature table was fun because we had some players at the table I already knew," said Komarova. "We had some history playing against each other and it was fun."

To add to the fun, Daniel Nasman who attended the last Cash Game Festival, spiced thing up. Komarova explained, "Daniel at one point bought a 'mystery' drink and announced that the next person to lose a hand at showdown would have to drink it. As we were getting people to agree on it, Kalle and Silje Nilsen were ahead of the game and got into a hand. Kalle didn't really want to get involved, but he didn't want to fold his hand. As the drink was making its way to Kalle, on the flop where Kalle was drawing to a runner-runner, he drew one of the runners when a spade hit the turn. Then the drink began to make its way back to Silje and she eventually drank it when a spade spiked the river to complete Kalle's flush."
