Welcome to Day 5 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Slovenia at Perla Casino. The day began for many as the night was ending with dozens of players being witnessed playing cash games as the sun was coming up.

For others, the day began at noon, when the many attending the festival hopped on a bus to visit the scenic caves around 60 kilometers away from the casino. We will share coverage from the photography and video crew along with some antidotes from the players later in the coverage.

After players return, the early televised feature table will kick off at 5:40 p.m. CET on a 20-minute delay at lower stakes before the later televised table will feature bigger action at 8:40 p.m. CET on a 20-minute delay.

You can check out each hand as it happens on the televised feature tables here on PokerNews as well as on the Cash Game Festival website and on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel once action kicks off. In the meantime, you can head to the Twitch channel to see some of the action from the previous three days.

Also, as usual, the final day of the festival will feature plenty of side game action across a variety of limits and poker variants.

Yesterday was a huge day in Cash Game Festival history as for the first time, there was a three-time biggest winner on a feature table. Italy's Federico Drassich claimed this honor after he was king of the mountain after both the early and late televised tables. He also became the first player to be the biggest winner on two feature tables in one day and the first to be the biggest winner on three feature tables in a single Cash Game Festival.

Also, yesterday was the VIP party at Pulse Arena. Dozens of players gathered for free drinks, lots of dancings and good energy. France's Maxime Roseau won some Pulse Arena apparel after showing his moves on the dance floor to win a contest. Previous activities included an adventure trip to Soca Fun Park and a special dinner at On' Italy and welcome drinks at the casino.

Coverage will kick off at around 5:00 p.m. CET and continue throughout the evening. Stay tuned at PokerNews as we report the latest and greatest news from the 2017 Cash Game Festival Slovenia.

Small Delay for the Feature Table

There is a small delay until the feature table begins since a handful of the players scheduled to play went on the planned excursion to the caves 60 kilometers away. The bus just came back and players are filing in.

The approximate scheduled start time has been pushed back until 5:55 p.m. CET (6:15 p.m. CET visible on the stream with the 20-minute delay).

You can watch the stream when it is live by clicking on the Live Stream tab.

Special Appearance

Usually, reporters at festivals do their best to blend into the shadows.

The Cash Game Festival is much different than tournament festivals and even the media at times are encouraged to get involved.

As a special treat you can watch PokerNews Editor Jason Glatzer on the stream playing €1/€2 no limit hold'em.

Lopsided Flip For a Bad Start

So far not so good for the PokerNews hero Jason Glatzer as he just ended up on the losing end of a hand for his initial buyin after calling a four-bet all in against Roro with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}.

He asked to run it twice and was denied by his opponent.

Things were looking good for the hero when an ace appeared on the flop. However, a jack appeared on the flop followed by a nine on the turn to give his opponent two-pair with him holding {j-}{9-}.

Roro said he played it that way for information while Glatzer told his opponent "nice hand" before reloading.

Roro Roars on the Feature Table

An Italian player Roro was all over the place on the feature table. While he delivered a bad beat to the PokerNews reported on the table, in general, he was playing a very solid aggressive style.

He was easily the biggest winner on the table by logging in a solid profit of almost €700.

Federico Drassich

There is one last televised feature table about to kick off, however, Cash Game Festival organizers agreed to wait a little time for some of the players to return from dinner.

Yesterday, Italy's Federico Drassich established three Cash Game Festival records including being the biggest feature table winner twice in one day, being the biggest winner three times on feature tables in one festival and being the biggest winner three times on a feature table across multiple festivals.

Drassich now has a chance to extend the last two records as he will be appearing on the final feature table, which is a €2/€5 no-limit hold'em affair.

Click on the Live Stream tab when the stream kicks off to see if Drassich crushes his opponents once again this festival.
