Day: 4

Action Around the Room

Most of the tables running right now are €1/€2 no-limit hold'em. However, there are higher stakes €2/€5 no-limit hold'em feature table and a €2/€2 pot-limit Omaha game.

As it moves deeper into the evening, there will likely be players enjoying other poker variants as well.

Venice Crew Returns

Stefan Bagiensky and Matthew Manetta have entered the poker room and were sharing with their friends about Venice. About 30 minutes later Jack Fenton waltzed in as well. We are unsure where Elora Kask and Janar Kokk disappeared to, but imagine we will see them again before the night is out.

Drassich is doing a good job representing his country of Italy. Thus far, he has been the big winner on two separate televised feature tables during the festival including today. Can he make it three-times on this feature table? Tune into the stream here on PokerNews, on the Cash Game Festival website or on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel to find out.

Venice Anyone?

We learned during dinner, that Janar Kokk has yet to sleep after playing into the wee hours of the morning last night. This hasn't stopped his sense of adventure as he was part of a crew that included his wife Elora Kask, his old friend Stefan Bagiensky, a friend he met last year Jack Fenton (also did not go to bed last night) and a new friend from this festival Matthew Manetta that headed about 90 minutes into the heart of Italy to visit the canals and wonders of Venice.

It might be awhile longer before Kokk gets some rest as he was texting festival organizers when the VIP party is. The party starts in about two hours at the Pulse Arena, so if they stick to the plan, we should see them back in Nova Gorica at Perla Casino soon.

Federico Drassich Wins Again!

Viktoria Lundberg Shares, "Slovenia Has Been Really Nice"

Viktoria Lundberg
Viktoria Lundberg

SlotsMillion Ambassador Viktoria Lundberg has embarked on a new project where she will be vlogging, blogging, streaming and sharing on social media about her day-to-day journey through life and playing her favorite video slots.

Her journey began here at the Cash Game Festival Slovenia, and there might not have been a better place for her to begin. Lundberg couldn't have had nicer things to say about the locals.

"Slovenia has been very nice," shared Lundberg. "Since we arrived, the weather has been great and the people have been very friendly and helpful. Even at the local supermarket I had some help. I didn't know how to use the fast lane and navigate through the screens and a girl came over to help me with the things I bought, showed me how to pay with coins and get a receipt. Even if local people don't understand English, they are really helpful and really try. Everyone understands body language which helps a lot."

You can check out more about Viktoria on her My Little Slots blog. Here is also a look at her latest vlog.
