Estonian poker pro and coach Mark Joa took his opponents to school and was the biggest winner of the feature table on Day 3 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Tallinn at Olympic Park Casino after banking about €2,800 in profit on a €5/€10 no-limit hold'em table. Joa is known by many Estonian poker players for opening the country's bigger poker school in 2015.

Also performing well under the lights and camera on the same table was Spain's David Huerga Hierro with about €2,300 in profit. Most of the duo's winnings came out of the pocket of Latvia's Janis Mickans who was unable to get things going. His wallet was more than €5,000 lighter after the televised poker stream was completed for the day.

Another well-known player in Estonia was the top performer on the early €1/€2 no-limit hold'em with Kristo Erala winning over €300. Erala recently made a name for himself by winning the Estonian Championship Main Event a little more than a week ago.

The poker room was full of action all evening long. Despite this waiting lists for most tables were short. This was due to players taking breaks for dinner and some choosing to enjoy the VIP party hosted by the casino.

Tomorrow is expected to be as big as today. Those with the hospitality package are scheduled to participate in a disc golf competition at 1 p.m. ET. The televised streams will start early again tomorrow with the first table kicking off action at 3:40 p.m. EEST (5:40 p.m. EEST) on a 20-minute delay followed by the second feature table beginning three hours later.

Stay tuned at PokerNews as the action unfolds through the 2017 Cash Game Festival Tallinn.

Mark Joa & David Huerga Hierro Win Big on the Late Feature Table

Mark Jua

The late €5/€10 no-limit hold'em stream just ended. Early in the stream, Estonia's Mark Joa and Spain's David Huerga Hierro were involved against each other in a big pot with Jua coming out on top. By the end of the stream, the duo was the top two winners. Joa banked about €2,800 in profit and Hierro was right behind him with about €2,300 in profit.

Things didn't go nearly as well for Latvia's Janis Mickans, who lost over €5,000.

Although the stream is over, the game has continued and will likely keep going for a while.

Meanwhile, other players have headed over to the VIP party at the casino which starts in five minutes at 10 p.m. EEST.

Packed House for Friday Night

The poker room is packed with players this evening. This doesn't mean players that are just coming in can't get a seat quickly as some people are leaving to get ready for the VIP party while others are taking their seats.

Right now all of the action is low to mid stakes pot-limit Omaha and no-limit hold'em. It is possible that a high-limit game could break out later in the evening featuring some players from Finland while a group of players mostly from Sweden was overheard talking about wanting to start a Sviten Special (drawmaha) table after the clock strikes midnight.

Mark Joa Wins a Big Pot

A big pot just unfolded early on during the €5/€10 no-limit hold'em feature table.

Spain's David Huerga Hierro raised to €30 from early position with {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Estonia's Mark Joa defended the big blind by calling with {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Jua check-called a bet from Hierro for €20 on {2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop and check-called another bet for €80 after the {7-Clubs} appeared on the turn.

The {5-Clubs} completed the board on the river and created some action with Hierro holding a straight and Jua holding a flush. Jua checked again. However, when Hierro fired out a bet of €265, instead of flat-calling he went ahead a jammed all in for more than €1,000.

Hierro called and the biggest hand on the feature table of the day of almost €2,500 went to Jua.

Two High Hand Jackpots to Gibraltar

The Cash Game Festival Gibraltar promises to be one of the best in festival history. The event is just around the corner from May 17-21. You can reserve your seat and find out other information about this festival by visiting the visiting the Cash Game Festival website.

Two Cash Game Festival Gibraltar prize packages valued at €2,000 will be awarded during the Cash Game Festival Tallinn. One will be awarded to the player that has the highest hand during the festival in no-limit hold'em and the other for the highest hand in pot-limit Omaha. If there is a tie for the highest hand, a drawing between those players will determine who wins the package.

Currently, the only way for someone to have a chance at the package if playing pot-limit Omaha is if they wind up with a royal flush, since one play won a pot with this hand yesterday after the dealer promised it would happen.

There is a little more leeway for players competing at no-limit hold'em tables as the top hand is currently a ten-high straight flush.

Huge Feature Table Underway

The biggest feature table thus far of the Cash Game Festival is fully underway. The stakes are €5/€10 no-limit hold'em.

Lithuania's Oleg is to the left of the dealer in Seat 1. He shared that he is a shipbroker and has been playing poker for a decade.

Germany's Benny Hupfer, in Seat 2, almost exclusively plays cash games. Despite playing poker since 2009, he explained he was nervous to be on the feature table since it was his first experience playing under the lights and camera.

Estonia's Mark Joa, in Seat 3, is both a poker pro and coach. Joa explained that he Estonia’s biggest coaching project ABC Pokker in 2015. One year before, in 2014, he attended the first Cash Game Festival in history in Tallinn.

Estonia's Rauno Tipner, in Seat 4, may have been serious and may have been joking when he began playing poker at six years old. Some players began playing for play money as soon as they could hold a deck of cards, so perhaps it is the case. He shared this is his first televised feature table and he is nervous about how well he will do.

Spain's David Huerga Hierro, in Seat 5, was on the feature earlier in the festival. He shared with us he has been very successful at the high limit games.

Latvia's Janis Mickans, in Seat 6, said his favorite hand is four-two. We know poker players like to bluff and sometimes that extends to the media as well.

Estonia's Erki Andressoo in Seat 8 said his biggest poker accomplishment was "bluffing Mark Joa out of a pot multiple times." He will have a chance to try to do this in front of many witnesses with both players appearing on the stream.
