Welcome to Day 2 of the Cash Game Festival Bratislava at Banco Casino Bratislava.

Yesterday was a great start to what promises to be a fantastic first visit to the Slovakian capital for the Cash Game Festival. As is always the case, the festival kicked off with welcome drinks before the first of two televised feature tables began.

Unibet Poker ambassador and The Chip Race podcast co-host David Lappin was the star of the show on the streams yesterday after he booked €651 or 325.5 big blinds in €1/€2 no-limit hold'em.

Luca Sebastiani won less big blinds than Lappin, however, more in total profit when he won €1,688 or 317.6 big blinds in the late €2/€5 no-limit hold'em feature table.

The action under the lights and camera were only one reason for the festival's early success. Players were enjoying a variety of games all night long including a huge €5/€5 pot-limit Omaha game that began in the wee hours of the morning and eventually had over €50,000 on the table.

Today's action is expected to be even bigger with many players just coming into town last night or early today. As will be the case throughout the festival, the dynamic British duo of Henry Kilbane and George Sandford will host the two televised feature tables at 6 p.m. CEST and 9 p.m CEST broadcasted on a 20-minute delay at the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel. You can alternatively follow the action by clicking on the Live Stream tab that will be in our PokerNews coverage once the action is live.

Early Action

Ivelin Ganev
Ivelin Ganev

The action is already picking up at Banco Casino Bratislava even before the start of the first feature table. Currently, there are games running in no-limit hold'em, pot-limit Omaha and a game where its dealer's choice between those two poker variants.

The Omaha table is the most active one with stakes at €5/€5 and pots often in four-figures. Peter La Terra, who will be attending the VIP dinner in a little more than an hour, is among the players grinding away and involved in big pots. He agreed with our observation.

"It has been going good," shared La Terra. "The table is extremely active."

Also just joining the table is Cash Game Festival London high hand jackpot winner Ivelin Ganev. La Terra and Ganev were playing against each other yesterday in the fun lower-stakes game of €1/€2 Sviten Special. Ganev played Sviten Special for the first time in London and now loves the game.

Ganev shared before he joined the table that he is having a good time and hopes to travel for more Cash Game Festivals especially the one that will be visiting his home country of Bulgaria at Platinum Casino in Sunny Beach on Aug. 8-12.

Mario's Back at the Feature Table

Mario Langer

The €2/€5 no-limit hold'em feature table is about to begin and it should be action packed based on the line-up. You can watch action commentated by the British duo of Henry Kilbane and George Sandford on a 20-minute delay on the Live Stream tab in our coverage or by heading to the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel.

Austria's Mario Langer, who perhaps was the biggest action player at yesterday's feature tables, is back again in Seat 7 and full of smiles. PokerNews will be interviewing him live on Facebook either after his session today or later in the festival as he shared he will not be leaving for home until Monday.

Langer is a young gun at just 22 years of age, but don't let his age mean he isn't experienced. He has been playing since he was 18-years old and right away he appeared at the final table in his first-ever poker tournament.

Here is a look at the rest of the players kicking off the feature table.

United Kingdom's Colin Guthrie, in Seat 1 has been playing poker for five years. The 52-year old shared his best poker experience was winning $20,000 in a poker tournament on a cruise in the Bahamas. It wasn't just the money that made this experience memorable, but also the fact he knocked out 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Cada from the event.

Poland's Arkadiusz Kolodziejczyk, in Seat 2, shared he has been playing poker for three years and considers himself to be a poker pro. The 25-year-old also appeared at a feature table yesterday and doesn't shy away from big action pots.

Austria's Alex Eder, in Seat 3, is a 24-year-old student. Like his countrymate Langer, Eder started playing poker at a young age of 18 years old. His shared his biggest poker achievement is simply being in love with the game and that eight-six suited is his favorite hand.

Ireland's Kevin Malone, in Seat 4, likely needs no introduction if you have been following the Cash Game Festival or are active in the Irish poker community. Malone got hooked on the festival when it visited Dublin in October and has since been to stops in Tallinn in November and in London in January. Malone, who we can now classify as a CGF regular, also plans to attend the Cash Game Festival in Tallinn at Olympic Park Casino on April 25-29.

Rounding off the table is Italy's Andrea Iengo in Seat 7. Iengo, who is 25 years of age, has been playing poker for three years and shared, "my favorite hand is jack-ten suited due to its playability."
