Day 4 Completed
Day 4 of the Cash Game Festival Bulgaria at Platinum Casino in Sunny Beach was booming both on and away from the tables.
The day began for many with the Cash Game Festival treating those with the hospitality package to Brazilian dancing in a garden. Others chose to hit the felt for some early action or enjoy the absolutely perfect weather on the beach of the Black Sea.
Players battled it out on the early televised feature table hosted by PokerNews Editor Jason Glatzer and Unibet Poker Social Media Manager Simon Steedman.
Youness Barakat was the biggest winner after booking a profit of €791 or 263.7 big blinds. He now has set a new festival record after being the biggest winner at a feature table four times in one Cash Game Festival.
The stakes increased to €5/€5 no-limit hold'em for the later feature table. Glatzer manned the commentary booth with Emma Simpson while her husband Ian Simpson battled it out on the table.
Ian Simpson was cruising along but lost a big pot on a cooler. He had second nuts with a full-house only to be felted with his opponent showing up with quads.
Estonia's Reivo Nodapero was the biggest winner at this table after booking a profit of €1,497 (299.4 big blinds).
Despite the big wins on Day 4, neither Barakat nor Reino are in the hunt for the Cash Game Festival Bulgaria trophy award to the player that wins the most big blinds on any of the 10 feature tables. This honor currently belongs to Nikolay Bibov who won 432.5 big blinds on Day 1 at a €2/€2 pot-limit Omaha table.
In addition to the trophy, the biggest winner will also be awarded a full package valued at €1,500 to the Cash Game Festival Bratislava on Sept. 19-23. Even if Bibov doesn't win the trophy competition, the Bulgarian has already won a package to the next Cash Game Festival thanks to winning a promotion at the casino.
As the first feature table was ending, players headed to Coco Beach Bar for the second VIP party of the festival.
Tomorrow is the last day of the Cash Game Festival Bulgaria. Chances are tomorrow will also decide who takes home the trophy. Stay tuned at PokerNews as we bring you the final day of the Cash Game Festival Bulgaria.
The €5/€5 no-limit hold'em feature table has just kicked off. Unibet Poker Ambassador Ian Simpson and Rauno Tahvonen are among the players battling it out.
