Tommy Zhang opened to 1,000,000 from the button with A♠10♦ and action folded to Adam Hendrix who moved all in for 4,700,000 with 7♠7♣.
After a few moments to think about it, Zhang made the call to put Hendrix at risk.
Unfortunately for Hendrix, the runout of J♥8♣J♦2♠8♥ was brutal as it double-paired the board, counterfeiting him to leave him with just seven-high while Zhang held ace-high. The pot was shipped over to Zhang while Hendrix made his way to the exit in fifth place for $59,910.
Jerry Yen opened to 800,000 with K♦Q♣ and was then three-bet to 1,500,000 by Tommy Zhang with A♥Q♥. Yen responded by clicking back to 3,000,000 and Zhang moved all in. Yen pushed the last of his remaining chips into the middle and the cards were on their backs.
Yen would need some help to catch up to Zhang's superior holding, but the runout of 8♦4♣J♠3♦7♦ failed to do so and he was sent to the payout desk in fourth place for $78,750.
With the elimination of Jerry Yen in fourth place, the remaining three players have agreed to take $25,000 off of first place and add it to third place. The new payouts are listed as follows:
After Spenser Champlin limped in with A♠10♣, Tommy Zhang raised it up to 1,400,000. Champlin then responded by limp-raising all in for close to 17,000,000, sending Zhang into the tank as this bet covered him.
After some pained deliberation, Zhang decided to to let it go and wait for a better spot while the pot was pushed over to Champlin.
Spencer Champlin opened to 800,000 with 2♥2♦ and was called by Tommy Zhang with K♣10♦, but then Andrew Esposito three-bet to 2,700,000 with A♣10♣. Champlin made the call and Zhang got out of the way for them to go heads-up to a flop of K♠5♣7♣.
Esposito fired out a continuation bet of 2,200,000 and Champlin quickly folded to award him the pot.
With this win, Esposito now holds the clear chip lead with 30,700,000.
Andrew Esposito opened to 1,100,000 with K♥9♠ and was called by Spencer Champlin with 10♠8♠.
The flop came out A♦2♦Q♥ and Esposito checked to Champlin, who checked back. The turn was the K♣, giving Esposito a pair of kings and he decided to check to Champlin, who bet 1,350,000. After some thought, Espositio decided to lay down the better hand and the pot was pushed to Champlin.
