Seed Slipping

Level 19 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Chino Rheem opened the pot with a raise to 48,000 and received calls from Gavin Smith on the button and Huck Seed in the big blind.

The flop was {5-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and all three players checked. The turn was the {j-Hearts} and this time Seed led out for 110,000. Rheem min-raised to 220,000 and Smith folded. Seed thought for a couple of minutes, checked his cards and tossed them in the muck.

Rheem Wins First Hand of Level 19

Level 19 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

On the first hand of Level 19, Gavin Smith came in for a raise to 50,000 from under the gun. Chino Rheem was his only customer out of the big blind and the two took a paired flop of {K-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Rheem checked and Smith fired a 68,000-chip continuation bet. Rheem called.

Fourth street brought the {3-Diamonds} to the middle of the table and Rheem checked. Smith paused and then checked behind.

The river landed with the {2-Hearts} and Rheem led for 88,000. Smith gave it up without too much thought and Rheem scooped in the chips.

Chino Rheem raised from under the gun to 38,000. Huck Seed called from the button before Erik Seidel three-bet from the big blind to 115,000.

Rheem thought about it a bit before letting go of his hand but it would take a lot longer for Seed to make his decision. He tanked for a few minutes before finally deciding to let it go.

More People in Mercier's Section

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Vanessa Selbst and Brent Hanks are hanging out in Jason Mercier's section now as well. Selbst came in and then left, but she came back quickly and holding a giant tray of about 12 beers. Things could get rowdy. The rings of "Yeahhhpp!" have already been coming loud from Mercier's section every time he takes down a pot.

November Nine Convention?

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Two World Series of Poker November Niners have just walked into the final table stage arena and taken seats, both in Jason Mercier's corner. Ben Lamb and Phil Collins are both here and will be rooting on Mercier at this final table. Lamb played this event, but busted late on Day 2.
