Seed Gets There in a Big Way

"All in and call," shouted one of the dealers. We went over and found Ben Lamb with his hand face up. He held the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}. However, it took us a minute to figure out where the call had come from. Huck Seed, was on the other side of the room, apparently not happy upon having seen Lamb's hand. After about a minute, he walked over and tabled his hand, {a-}{k-}.

The flop hit Seed strong though when it rolled out {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{a-Spades}. In fact, it hit him so hard that it left Lamb drawing to just running cards to split with a straight. The {3-Diamonds} officially ended things and the {2-Clubs} river was meaningless. Seed won the pot and is now a top 5 stack with 265,000. Lamb is still healthy though with 140,000.

O'Brien Makes the Right Call

With a little over 19,000 chips in the middle on the {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} board, Dan O'Brien checked and Justin Bonomo checked behind. The river completed the board with the {10-Diamonds} and O'Brien bet 13,600. Bonomo raised to 34,000 and O'Brien went into the tank. After several long minutes of tanking, O'Brien made the call. Bonomo tabled the {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of fours and O'Brien showed the {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} for a pair of jacks.

West Eliminated

Tim West got his remaining 45,000 all in preflop holding {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Unfortunately for West, Brian Rast held {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and thus had a firm lead in the hand.

The board ran out {3-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} which did not improve West's hand and he hit the rail. Rast is now up to 310,000.

Brady Eliminated

After JJ Liu raised to 3,700 from the cutoff seat, Matt Brady moved the last of his chips into the middle from the button for an all-in bet of 39,100. Action got back to Liu, she confirmed the amount and then made the call.

Liu: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Brady: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The flop, turn and river provided no help for Brady as the {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} fell and he was eliminated.

Bonomo Sends Brown Out the Door

On the {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, Justin Bonomo and Chad Brown found all of the money in the middle. Brown was the shorter-stacked player and decided to go with his flush draw and two overcards to the board holding the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. His flush draw was good, but the two overs weren't looking too good against Bonomo's {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. Bonomo also held a diamond and with the paired board, could fill up before Brown could even hit his flush.

The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and helped Brown a tiny bit, giving him additional outs to another eight on the river. The river completed the board with the {6-Hearts} and Brown whiffed.

Bonomo won the pot and is now up to 240,000 in chips.
