With the elimination of Tomas Sayech, there were now two seats open at Shaun Deeb and Jeff Sarwer's table. Moved into Seat 1 was Antony Lellouche with a stack of 360,000 chips. In Seat 4 is Jani Sointula with nearly 200,000 chips. Jeff Sarwer is in the five hole with 875,000 and the chip lead, while Deeb is on the corner in Seat 7 with 300,000 chips.
Shaun Deeb opened two back-to-back hands to 11,500 and Anatoly Gurtoyov moved all in over the top. Each time, Deeb folded. On the very hand after those two, Deeb raised to 11,500 again. Tomas Sayech decided to shove over the top for about 105,000 total. Deeb made the call this time, tabling . Sayech held .
The board ran out and Deeb won the pot, sending Sayech home just a few spots short of the money. We're now down to 30 and Deeb has nearly 300,000 chips.
Shortly after the break, Jeff Sarwer sent Piotr Kilinski packing. Sarwer now has a massive chip lead on the field, boasting a stack of 875,000 chips. Antony Lellouche is his next closest competitor and he doesn't even have half the chips Sarwer does.
Peter Hedlund raised to 11,000 before Oleksandr Vaserfirer reraised to 27,000. Action got back to Hedlund and he began prying Vaserfirer for information. About half a minute after action fell back on Hedlund, Anton Genadiev called the clock.
"Really? I'm going to call the clock on everyone now." responded Hedlund.
Eventually, Hedlund announced that he was folding two eights. Vaserfirer showed two black jacks and Hedlund threw his arms up in the air, congratulating himself for making a good laydown. He then stood up and kissed the top of Vaserfirer's head, thanking him for showing his hand.
Oleksandr Vaserfirer just doubled up Vitaly Lunkin. Lunkin held pocket aces and Vaserfirer had pocket kings. Lunkin was all in for 78,000 and now has about 160,000 after a board of was run out. Vaserfirer dropped to 190,000.
