John O'Shea has some extra breathing room after doubling through Pascal Lefrancois over on Table 4.
I joined the action on a board with O'Shea betting 5,000 and him being min-raised to 10,000 by Lefrancois. After around a minute and a half of deliberation O'Shea move all in for a total of 15,700 chips and was quickly called by the Canadian.
O'Shea:
Lefrancois:
The dealer burned a card then put the out on the river, meaning O'Shea's hand was still best and doubling him up to around 38,000.
John O'Shea has gone from hero to almost zero during the last level and he has just lost even more ground after clashing with Canadian Yann Dion.
Dion opened the betting with a raise to 1,600 from early position and only John O'Shea called in the big blind. A flop of saw O'Shea check-call a 2,200 bet from Dion but when the fell on the turn both players tapped the table and checked.
The river saw the make an appearance and O'Shea seemed to like this card as he bet 4,500 out of position but was snap-called by Dion who turned over and O'Shea's hand hit the muck quickly.
Fate has seen EPT Berlin runner-up Ilari Tahkokallio get moved to the same table as Kristijonas Andrulis though they've yet to see many fireworks.
The Finn bet 1,600 on a flop with Andrulis the only caller to the turn. Tahkokallio then checked and soon gave up when his Lithuanian opponent bet 3,000.
Jan Bendik, who made the final of EPT Prague in December has just been eliminated, Dragomir Marius made it 1,375 preflop and Sascha Guidieri made the call before Bendik moved 18,000 of his 20,000 across the line.
Marius set him in and Guidieri quickly folded.

The board came and Bendik was eliminated, the Czech player muttering, "So lucky...every time."
Dutchman Rens Van Meegan has just doubled up to 26,000 chips after taking on Casey Kastle and winning.
By the river the board read and Kastle, who started the hand under the gun, checked to his opponent. With 13,000 already in the pot and having 13,000 in his own stack, Van Meegan moved all in which sent Mr Kastle into the tank.
He stayed submerged for two minutes, checking his cards a couple of times to see if they had changed to give him the nuts. They hadn't and he tossed them into the muck, leaving himself with 13,900 to play with.
