Paul Ribaud moved all-in for a total of 129,000 and Xuan Liu verbally announced a raise before putting 200,000 in front of her from the cut-off. Team Pokerstars Pro Max Lykov announced that he was all-in and a slight bit of chaos ensued which involved the floor being called.
The problem was the size of Liu's raise, 200,000 was not the minimum, and Thomas Kremser advised her that her raise needed to be 234,000. She threw the loose change into the pot and mucked her hand leaving Lykov to tango with Ribaud.

Max Lykov
Ribaud cheered as the sight of Lykov's hand until he saw the flop.
We caught up with the über-stacked Nicolas Yunis checking the turn of a board from the big blind, and then calling 75,000 from the short-stacked Marco Fabbrini on the button. They saw a on the river and Yunis checked again; this time Fabbrini checked behind and turned over . He was rewarded with a muck from Yunis, and he then celebrated with an almighty sigh.
Fabbrini is in a little less trouble on 650,000 now; Yunis' stack was barely dented and he still is our current chip leader on 2.45 million.
We caught up with Team PokerStars Pros Max Lykov and Joe Cada on the river of an board. Lykov had bet out 86,000 from the big blind position and to his immediate left past the dealer Cada was pulling a face and hovering the call above the felt. Eventually he let the handful of chips drop, denoting a call, and Lykov had to turn over for a complete bluff. Cada'a pocket were good, and the former World Champion is up to 1.55 million. The EPT Kyiv champion is down to 1.15 million.
Rupert Elder fired out 210,000 on the turn of a flop against Roberto Spada in a blind on blind battle, getting called by his opponent to see a river which both players checked. Spada turned over but it was no good, Elder flipped for a missed gutshot that had somehow spiked a backdoor flush.
Elder moves up to 1,500,000 while Spada drops to 1,600,000
Riccardo Lacchinelli has been knocked out by the mammoth stack that is Nicolas Yunis. We're unsure when the chips went in but the board was reading and Lacchinelli's had been defeated on the river by Yunis' .
Yunis now looks to have almost 3 million in chips.
It looked as though Giuseppe Caciolo has limped in before Fabrizio Cataldi made it 66,000 to go. In the big blind, Stefan Huber reraised which effectively got rid of Caciolo, but Cataldi now pushed and after a moment Huber folded, leaving himself on 400,000. Cataldi is almost a millionaire.
Arturo Pierantoni checked the turn of a board across to Team PokerStars Pro Joe Cada, the latter betting 170,000. Pierantoni stared for a moment then check-raised all in and was snap-called by the former World Champion.
Pieratoni:
Cada:
The came on the river and Pieratoni was easily covered, Cada now looks to be well over the million chip mark.
Xuan Liu is going about her business in a very quiet, unassuming but efficient manner here today. Here are two examples of her ability to turn the heat up when she feels like it.
Hand 1
Team Pokerstars Pro Max Lykov raised to 50,000 under the gun before Liu three-bet from the button making it 130,000. Lykov four-bet to 225,000 and everyone stared at Liu. She was riffling her chips and staring at her stack before very quietly announcing she was all-in. It may have been quiet but the ever-sharp Lykov heard alright and quickly despatched his hand into the muck.
Lykov ~ 1,380,000
Hand 2
Liu raised to 51,000 from the cut-off and Freddy Darakjian called on the button.
Flop:
Liu bet 81,000 and Darakjian called quite quickly.
Turn:
Liu loaded up and fired her second barrel worth 135,000 and again Darakjian didn't need much thinking time before calling.
River:
Liu took her gaze away from the board for the one and only time and stole a glance at the stack of Darakjian. She then returned to her original pose and said, "all-in." This time Darakjian didn't make his move so quick and instead took his time before eventually folding his hand.
Everywhere you look someone is doubling up in this tournament. The latest benefactor was Nicola Boldini and the latest casualty was Dario Nittolo; although he is not been eliminated.
Boldini made a huge raise pre flop when he made it 90,000 to play. The action folded around to Nittolo in the small blind and he made a three-bet of over 200,000. Boldini moved all-in and Nittolo made the call.
Down to just 90,000 at the break, Rocco Palumbo couldn't recover. He was so short that no-one saw his exit hand, but he is no longer in his seat and has already picked up his €20,000 for 34th place at the payout desk.
