Pearce Busts in 25th and Day is Over

Day 4 has come to a close with the elimination of Neil Pearce in 25th place. He was eliminated at the hands of Jeremy Kottler. Pearce was all in preflop holding the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Kottler had the better pair with the {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}.

The flop came down {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Pearce whiffed. The turn {9-Diamonds} meant Pearce could only catch a seven on the river to fill up and stay alive. The dealer dealt the {3-Hearts} out of fifth street and that was that. Pearce was eliminated and the tournament was ended for the night with about 10 minutes left in the current level.

We'll have a complete recap coming shortly.

O'Dwyer Doubles Through Yaiche

Stvee O'Dwyer had been paying attention to Basile Yaiche's aggression as of late and four-bet jammed with the {A-Hearts}{4-Spades} after opening and getting three-bet by Yaiche. This time, Yaiche had the goods and make the quick call with the {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. Fortunately for 'Dwyer, the board ran out {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and he doubled up.
