Vasileios Chantzaras has just doubled up against Pim van Riet and here is the action:

Zinman Zayard raised to 22,000 in first position and Chantzaras moved all-in for 226,000 in the hijack seat. The action folded around to Pim van Riet in the big blind and he also moved all-in and had Chantzaras covered. Zayard laid down his hand and we had a showdown with Chantzaras in fear of elimination.

Evangelos Armpatsis Eliminated in 25th Place (€7,400)

Evangelos Armpatsis had seen his opening raise three-bet to 48,000 by Ioannis Taramas, Armpatsis then four-bet to 100,000 only for Taramas to move all in almost instantly.

Armpatsis looked pained, having put about a third of his chips in the middle while Taramas told him (in Greek) that if he had Ace-King he was way behind. Armpatis was not putoff and called off the rest of his 300,000 stack for his tournament life.

Vitalijs Zavorotnijs has had one hell of a topsy-turvy ride today, and our intrepid reporter Homer has brought you news of his journey in this piece posted earlier. That ride has just come to an end at the hands of David Elyashar, here is the hand:

Zavorotnijs open shoved for 130,000 in the cutoff and Elyashar also moved all-in from the small blind. The big blind folded and we had a showdown.

Vitalijs Zavorotnijs had three-bet Fahredin Mustafov's initial open of 17,000 to 39,000 before Florian Schleps moved all in for 297,500 from the blinds. Mustafov folded but Zavorotnijs tanked and then made the call - he did not like what he saw.

"I folded eights," said Mustafov as the board came {8-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {A-Hearts} shipping the 600,000 plus pot to Schleps.

Zavorotnijs was left with just 14,000 and it soon went in, he managed to treble up with with {A-Spades} {4-Diamonds} on a {J-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {3-Spades} {Q-Spades} {J-Spades} board that was checked down between David Elyashar and Mustafov. The Latvian then pushed on Team PokerStars Pro Toni Judet's big blind and took another pot before doubling up once more with {9-Spades} against Mustafov's {A-Hearts} . He's back over the 100k mark, comeback time?
