Jose Maria Felices moved all-in for 71,000 in early position and the action folded around to our chip leader Charalampos Kapernopoulos in the small blind who shrugged his shoulders and made the call. The big blind folded and we had a showdown with Felices in danger of elimination.

Kapernopoulos
Felices was ahead but everyone was aware just how good the chip leader was running. This hand was no exception!
Viliyan Petleshkov check-raised all in against a 31,000 bet from Hauke Heseding with the board reading . Heseding tanked for a minute before making the call with , Petleshkov showed and picked up a gutshot to go with his flush draw on the turn, but the river was the and he was eliminated instead.
Fahredin Mustafov has doubled through David Elyashar with against after a board of to move back up over the quarter-million mark.
Hauke Heseding had fired out 25,000 on a flop only to see chip leader Charalampos Kapernopoulos min-check raise him to 50,000. Undeterred, Heseding made it 125,000 and Kapernopoulos quickly called. Both players checked the turn and Kapernopoulos then quickly called a 100,000 bet on the river, Heseding showed him , the Greek player grimaced and flashed into the muck.
Ioannis Taramas raised to 20,000 and Sergey Serafimov moved all-in for 55,000 in the cutoff. All eyes were back on Taramas and he made the call. It was Serafimov whose tournament life was at risk.
David Elyashar has glided nicely into second place this morning, but he has just had the most amazing blow up. The action folded around to Elyashar in the small blind and he made up the loose change. Florian Schleps was seated in the big blind and he raised it up to 30,000. Back to Elyashar and he raised it right back up to 70,000. Schleps wasn't too concerned because his next move was to raise to 150,000. Elyashar moved all-in and a rather stunned looking Schleps made the call. He was even more stunned when he saw the hand of Elyashar.

Board:
Schleps had quickly forgotten about his earlier loss to Elder while Elyashar had just undone all of his hard work in one moment of madness.
Both Pierre Mothes and Dimitris Mpinas were all-in and it was Mothes who was at risk of elimination.

Mpinas
Board:
When the final card hit the deck both players were shouting and screaming as they headed off into separate directions. We do not understand Greek but we are pretty dure Mpinas blamed the Dealer for the loss of his flip.
Mpinas now with all the work to do as we approach the break.
Unfortunately, we missed this hand but Mario Puccini very gratefully explained it to us. Charalampos Kapernopoulos made a raise and Andras Kovacs flatted one seat to his left. Team PokerStars Pro Toni Judet moved all-in from the blinds for around 250,000 and after Kapernopoulos folded Kovacs made the call.
