With the board reading , Linus Dahlstrom bet 5,000 and Chirstian Cipriano raised all in. After some time in the tank, Dahlstrom called.
Dahlstrom:
Cipriano:
Cipriano turned his flush when the fell. The river added another heart with the and Dahlstrom pumped his fist because he thought he won. Others at the table pointed out that Cipriano had a straight flush to the king and that's when Cipriano pumped his fist.
Dahlstrom had the least amount of chips and was eliminated.
Just as the break was ending, we watched David Bach pull something shiny from his pocket. It was his bracelet from the 2008 $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. World Championship, and he slid it on his wrist and buckled the clasp.
Bach is doing well through the first half of the day with about 55,000 chips, but it never hurts to have a little bit of golden luck on your side.
We only saw the river action, walking up to see Shaun Deeb all in for 13,625 on a board. There was already about 25,000 in the pot, and Danilo Colomba tanked and called.
Deeb tabled , and that's the nuts. Mark him down for about 52,000 now, a fine first ten minutes to his day.
A rather hungover Shaun Deeb has just arrived at a tough table, but the good news is he's sandwiched in between Sandra Naujoks and Melanie Weisner.
As Deeb was taking his seat, a captivating round of "Lodden Thinks" was just finishing up. For those of you unfamiliar with this prop-betting past time, it involves two or more people betting on a third person's opinion. For example, in the last round, the question involved how many, erm, partners Phil Hellmuth has had in his lifetime. Sandra Naujoks was playing the role of Lodden in this game, and she locked in her number. Melanie Weisner started the betting at 5, and Sorel Mizzi went to 6. The number only got to 11 before Weisner called the under, and Mizzi said he was confident in his line.
So, what did "Lodden" think? Naujoks' line was 120! Ship the money to Mizzi for this round, and the two have gone back to betting on flop colors as they try and think up a new question to bet on.
