EPT Copenhagen Day 4: Neuville Leads Charge to Final Table
The mission for today is pretty simple: lose two tables worth of players and be left with one eight-handed final table for tomorrow. It might table two hours, or as long as 14 hours.
Pierre Neuville is leading the way after an amazing two days of poker. The Team PokerStars Pro came back for day 2 with just 15,000 chips and finished day 3 with a massive 780,000. If we're talking about momentum then Mickey Petersen certainly has that. Down to around 7,000 chips midway through yesterday, he mounted an incredible comeback to bag up 451,500 at the end of play.
One can never discount the force of the reigning champion. Michael Tureniec was looking like he was going to win it all yesterday but his charge was clipped back by Neuville who cracked his aces in a near million-chip pot. He has work to do with a relatively small 294,500 but don't expect the Swede to blind away.
Play is due to start at midday CET and the blog will be running along side EPT Live Lite. The stripped back, hole cards face down production will be airing for the next two days over on pokerstars.tv.

Henrik Jeppsson Eliminated in 24th Place (70,000 DKK)
We'd hardly started before we lost our first player. The shortest day belonged to Henrik Jeppsson and he busted from the feature table so the details of his exit are a little sketchy.

O'Dwyer Wins Pot Out Of Position
From the hijack seat Spencer Hudson opened to 17,000. His only customer was his fellow countryman Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind.
The dealer put out the 
flop and O'Dwyer checked to Hudson who followed suit and checked behind. The 
on the turn is met with a 23,000 bet from O'Dwyer, a bet that Hudson was not prepared to call and he folded.

Hudson and O'Dwyer Clash Again.
Michael Tureneic opened to 16,000 from UTG+1 and to his immediate left Spencer Hudson made the call. Steve O'Dwyer is now in the small blind and he put in the extra chips but Helge Stjernvang passed his big blind despite getting ridiculous odds.
Flop: 
- O'Dwyer lead out for 40,000 on the very wet flop, Tureneic instantly folded but Hudson asked "how much," before being told 40,000 and he made the call.
Turn: - O'Dwyer now checked to Hudson who picked up some yellow 25,000 chips and a blue 5,000 chip and set the price to play at 80,000. O'Dwyer stared his opponent down before releasing his hand.

Helge Stjernvang Eliminated in 23rd Place (30,000 DKK)
The action folded around to Helge Sternvang in the small blind and he moved all-in for 80,000. Jacob Rasmussen was seated in the big blind and he called immediately. The pained expression on Sternvang's face said it all.

Magnus Hansen Eliminated in 22nd Place (70,000 DKK)
The feature table is where a lot of the action is right now. It was folded around to Magnus Hansen and Lauri Varonen in the blinds and the two were all-in after a flurry of bets, raises and calls.

Metin Antar Eliminated in 21st Place (70,000 DKK)
There are plenty of ways to play your button with 12BB, but the way Metin Antar just chose to play his, is probably not going to be seen in to many poker training videos.
With just 12BB and the play at his fingertips Antar raised to 20,000 on the button, Bjarke Hansen folded in the small blind before Pierre Neuville asked for a count from the big blind. After receiving said news, Neuville moved enough chips in the middle to put Antar all-in. Antar then went into the tank and pondered his decision, in anguish, for several minutes before finally calling.

Double Dutch
Alejandro Sanchez Fernandez's chip lead didn't last for long after he doubled-up Dutchman Niels van Alphen.
