Kopylkov Cracks Spindler's Queens

We're not sure when the chips went in, we're guessing it was preflop, but Alexander Kopylkov just doubled through Benny Spindler holding {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} on a {J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{J-Clubs} board. Spindler held the {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and was ahead until the turn, but the king saved Kopylkov and allowed him to double through the big stack.

Pagano Doubles Through Metaal

A short-stacked Luca Pagano moved all in for 31,300 from early position and found a called in Govert Metaal in the small blind.

Showdown
Pagano: {J-Clubs}{J-}
Metaal: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}

Pagano was out in front and looking to dodge an ace, which is exactly what he did as the board ran out {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

O'Brien Picks One Up

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

From the hijack seat, Dan O'Brien raised to 4,800. John Duthie reraised from the cutoff seat to 12,000. Action folded back to O'Brien, and he made the call to take a flop.

On the flop, the {J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} fell. Both players then checked to see the {8-Clubs} land on the turn. O'Brien tossed out 11,300, and Duthie folded.

Quick Fall for Chernyshev

With approximately 30,000 in the pot and a board reading {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, Evgeny Chernyshev bet 32,000 from the big blind and was met with an all-in raise to 84,900 from Eugene Katchalov in middle position. Evgeny Chernyshev took his time but eventually made the call.

Showdown
Chernyshev: {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Katchalov: {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Chernyshev got the money in drawing dead, and he didn't seem to pleased about it. After the meaningless {Q-Clubs} was put out on the river, the stacks were counted down and Chernyshev was left with just 8,000.

In the very next hand, Luca Pagano raised to 5,200 from middle position and Chernyshev moved in from the small blind. Pagano made the call and ended up having Chernyshev crushed.

Showdown
Chernyshev: {6-Spades}{5-Spades}
Pagano: {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Chernyshev's day came to an end.

Nordkvist vs. Cheong

Joseph Cheong opened for 5,000 from middle position only to have Joel Nordkvist move all in from the big blind for 47,200. Cheong made the call and discovered the bad news.

Showdown
Nordkvist: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Cheong: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop made things interesting as it Cheong an open-ended straight draw, but Nordkvist was able to fade it as the {2-Hearts} appeared on the turn followed by the {Q-Clubs} river.
