Metaal Busts Duhamel

Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel was all in for 24,800 from under the gun. The man who just doubled through him, Govert Metaal, made the call from the cutoff seat, and everyone else folded.

Duhamel showed the {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, and he was up against the {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for Metaal.

The flop, turn and river ran out {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, and it was Metaal's straight that busted the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event champion.

Metaal Doubles Big Through Duhamel

With a big pot in the middle and a board reading {4-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel put out a big bet of 90,000, which was enough to cover Govert Metaal, who was sitting on the button with 70,400.

Metaal thought long and hard before sliding in a call, and he was glad he did as his {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flush bested Duhamel's {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. With that, Metaal doubled to the chip lead while Duhamel was left with just 24,500.

Gruissem on the Rise; Baharan Eliminated

Shahin Baharan opened for 11,000 and was met by a three-bet to 22,000 fro, Philipp Gruissem on the button. The blinds both folded, Baharan moved all in for roughly 100,000, and Gruissem snap-called.

Showdown
Baharan: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Gruissem: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

Baharan was behind and in need of some help, but he would find none as the board ran out {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{J-Spades}. With that, Gruissem has chipped up to 335,000, most of which came in this level.

Benzimra with the Nuts

With 30,000 in the pot and a board reading {Q-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, Team PokerStars Pro Luca Pagano bet 8,000 from the big blind only to have Christophe Benzimra moved all in from the cutoff for 28,600. Pagano didn't seem excited to make the call, but he did so nonetheless.

Benzimra then rolled over {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for the nuts, and Pagano shook his head, flashed the {A-Clubs} and then sent his cards to the muck.

Terry & Behbehani Sent to the Rail

With around 65,000 in the pot and a board reading {2-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{5-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, Brandon Barnes moved all in and put the pressure on Todd Terry, who had just 44,200 behind. Terry thought long and hard before tossing in what seemed like a resigned call, but ended up mucking when Barnes rolled over {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. "Good game guys," Terry said before taking his leave.

Meanwhile, Salman Behbehani was eliminated from the tournament.
