Katchalov Takes One from Lacay

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

From under the gun, Sam Chartier raised to 500. Ludovic Lacay made the call from the cutoff seat, then Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov reraised to 1,800 from the small blind. The big blind and Chartier folded before Lacay made the call to see the flop.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}, and Katchalov checked. Lacay checked behind. Then, the {Q-Hearts} landed on the turn, and Katchalov checked again. Lacay fired 2,500, and Katchalov made the call. On the river, the {2-Diamonds} landed. Both players checked.

Katchalov showed the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}for a pair of tens, and Lacay mucked his hand.

One For Chen

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Andrew Lichtenberger raised to 600 from early position and found calls from Maxim Lykov and Sylvain Loosli. Andrew Chen three-bet the action to 3,000 from the small blind and the big blind folded. Lichtenberger got out of the way and Lykov called. Loosli folded too and we were heads up to the flop.

The flop was filled with diamonds as it came {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Chen tossed out a single blue T5,000 chip and Lykov let his hand go, awarding Chen the pot.

Trip Ladies For Seiver

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Eugene Katchalov opened to 600 from under the gun and Scott Seiver called from the big blind. Maroun Jazzar made a three-bet to 1,600 from the big blind and Katchalov let it go. Seiver called to see a flop.

The dealer fannd out {3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and Jazzar continued for 1,600. Seiver flat called and the {7-Clubs} came on the turn. Jazzar slowed down on fourth street by checking and Seiver took this chance to shoot out a bet of 3,200. Jazzar called the bet.

The river paired the board with the {Q-Spades} and Jazzar checked once again. Seiver thought for a moment before tossing out 10,000 straight. Jazzar called and Seiver rolled over {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for trip queens. Jazzar mucked his hand and Seiver dragged in a pot that brought his stack to about 78,500.

Rheem Takes Two from Lykov

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Maxim Lykov has lost over half of his stack, and much of those chips have gone over to Chino Rheem in a couple recent hands.

On the first hand, Rheem check-raised a flop bet from Lykov on {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Lykov's original bet was unknown, but Rheem check-raised to 5,000. Lykov called. The turn was the {10-Clubs}, and Rheem bet 8,800. Lykov called again, and the river completed the board with the {K-Diamonds}. Rheem fired 25,000, and Lykov folded.

Then, on a board of {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} after putting in 900 each on the flop, Rheem and Lykov were involved again. Both checked to see the {A-Hearts} land on the river. Rheem bet 1,700, and Lykov called. Rheem tabled the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}, and Lykov mucked his hand.
