Behind them sit Sam Grafton (985,000) and James Mitchell (983,000), two of several British players still left in this event.
We're expecting a shorter day today with the tournament expected to play down to it's final three tables (24 players) although it's possible that might be revised down to the final two tables instead.

Gordon Huntly just opened for 20,000 from under the gun, and when it folded around to Thomas Butzhammer in the big blind he repopped it to 67,000. Huntly sat quietly for about a half-minute, then declared himself all in and Butzhammer instantly called to create a pot of nearly 800,000.
Huntly grimly grinned at the speed of Butzhammer's call, nodding in acknowledgement of his opponent having woken up with . Huntly tabled his and folded his arms to watch the community cards come.
The flop was and turn , and Butzhammer's hand remained best. But the arrived on the river to disturb the serenity of the scene, giving Huntly one of his three needed outs to survive.
Huntly remained stoic, but Butzhammer stood up at the sight of the card, walking away from the table in disgust. He returned to find Huntly almost apologetic at the turn of events, and the pair slapped hands in recognition of fate's preeminence.
Now, however, Butzhammer must overcome emotions as well as having a short stack in order to continue his EPT Deauville Main Event run.
