Following a cutoff raise by Joseph El Khoury, Eilert Eilertsen defended his big blind with a call, and the pair saw the flop come 
. Eilertsen checked, El Khoury bet 41,000, and Eilertsen called. Both players then checked the

The river brought the 
. This time Eilertsen pushed out a bet of 70,000, and after about a minute El Khoury responded with a raise to 210,000.
Eilertsen nodded, saying "ace-queen" as he sat back to contemplate the situation. Finally after about two minutes he leaned forward to set out the calling chips, saying "Show me your ace-queen" as he did.

David Lappin was the last Irish player left in the EPT Deauville main event. We caught up with him and Dara O'Kearney shortly before Lappin got a grim beat to send him home - via the gelato bar.
Eilert Eilertsen opened for 36,000 from middle position, James Bills raised to 82,000 from the button, then Eilertsen announced he was four-betting to 170,000. Bills then said he reraising all in even before Eilertsen could count out the chips for his reraise.
Eilertsen finished put out his bet, then blinked slowly as he thought through what to do. "I'm more or less committed to this," he said, looking down at the 300,000 or so he had behind. Bills meanwhile had him covered with about half a million chips.
Finally Eilertsen called, showing , and Bills turned over
