Kabrhel Climbing

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Ezequiel Macho and Martin Kabrhel looked down at a board of {3-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. With around 5,500 already in the middle, Macho cut out a bet of 3,100 from the small blind. Kabrhel thought for a moment, peeked at his hole cards, and then tossed out a call.

The {a-Diamonds} completed the board and Macho slowed with a check. Kabrhel did the same, allowing Macho to show {a-Spades}{6-Spades} for a pair of aces. Kabrhel had that beat, however, showing the {4-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a flopped two pair. Kabrhel was awarded the pot and now boasts a stack of about 48,500.

Michalec Over Grundtvig

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Adrian Mateos opened with an early-position raise to 550. Stanislav Michalec called from the hijack and the player in the cutoff came along as well. Leo Fernandez called from the button only to have PokerStars qualifier Christian Grundtvig three-bet to 2,700 from the big blind. Mateos quickly got out of the way and Michalec called to see a flop. The player in the cutoff and Fernandez folded their hands, leaving action heads up to the flop.

The dealer fanned {q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Grundtvig continued out for 3,600. Michalec called and the {a-Spades} dropped down on fourth street. Grundtvig did not let up his aggression, this time opting to move out 5,500 in chips. Michalec called for a second time and the {10-Diamonds} finished off the board. Both players checked, prompting Grundtvig to show {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for top pair with top kicker. Michalec had that beat, however, with {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for top two pair. He took down the pot and brought his stack up to about 43,500 in chips. Grundtvig, on the other hand, dropped to 20,500

Danzer Run Over by Peters' Wheel

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

David Peters and Team PokerStars Pro George Danzer looked down at a completed board of {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades}. With about 1,500 already in the middle, Peters checked over to Danzer on the button. Danzer bet 1,200 only to have Peters come over the top with a check-raise to 3,500.

Danzer instantly tossed out calling chips. Peters rolled over {5-Hearts}{4-Spades} for the wheel. Danzer grinned, flashed the {10-Hearts} for a rivered pair of tens, and then threw his hand toward the muck. Peters pulled in the pot and now has approximately 36,300 to his name.
