Radu Lungu shoved for his last 15,200 and Mark Radoja called with the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} only to see the Romanian turn over {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}. The board ran out {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{K-Diamonds}.

Fedor Holz - EPT 13 Barcelona €50,000 Super High Roller Winner
Fedor Holz - EPT 13 Barcelona €50,000 Super High Roller Winner

Fedor Holz opened on the button to 3,800. In the small blind, Nicolas Cardyn slid a humongous stack of blue 5,000-chips over the line, covering both Holz and the big blind. Holz snap-called it off for his tournament life.

Fedor Holz: {A-Spades}{8-Spades}
Nicolas Cardyn: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The dealer fanned out {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{3-Spades} and Holz flopped the nut flush, drawing laughs from the table. The turn {Q-Hearts} did deliver Cardyn a potential four-outer, but the river {9-Clubs} bricked and gave Holz the double-up.

Charlie Carrel Eliminated By Sebastian Veghinas

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Charlie Carrel
Charlie Carrel

On a board of {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, Charlie Carrel had moved all in for 18,300, which was more than the size of the pot. Behind him, Sebastian Veghinas thought for a bit, then moved all in for a whopping 54,800.

It brought the action to the third player in the hand, Sirfan Hissou, who appeared to have a huge hand for the situation. He shook his hand, removed his sunglasses, stared intensely at Veghinas, then tried to chat him up to get a read.

"I beat aces," he says to Veghinas.

The dealer quickly informed no talking of any kind was allowed, as it was a multi-way pot. Veghinas, not the one to back down from a verbal war, and Hissou remained silent for the remainder of the hand. The German counted out the calling chips, thought for a while longer, then folded {J-Spades}{10-Hearts} face-up with a pained expression on his face.

"Whoa, I want that one!", Carrel laughed, as he tried to reach for the mucked hand.

Charlie Carrel: {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Sebastian Veghinas: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

Silently, Hissou witnessed how the dealer burned and turned the {A-Diamonds}, followed by the {10-Spades} river, which would've kept his hand in front on showdown. As it was, Veghinas now raked in the pot and Carrel was eliminated.

"I'm winning this tournament. Write that down," Veghinas confidently remarked afterwards.
