Welcome to the Day 3 finale of the €25,000 EPT High Roller at the 2022 PokerStars European Poker Tour presented by Monte-Carlo Casino®️.
It's the final day of the festival and field of 179 players has dwindled down to the final two tables, with only 13 players remaining to play for the top prize of €951,950 from a total prize pool of €4,297,790.

Dimitar Danchev bagged the chip lead on Day 2 after going on a run in the final stages of the evening. He is followed closely by Bruno Lopes in second and Gianluca Speranza in third. Other returning players include Joao Vieira, Jean-Noel Thorel, and Manig Loeser. Danchev, normally an online crusher, will return today in pursuit of his second EPT title.
Day 2 began with 69 entries and the 13 returnees will take at least €70,000. Day 3 will kick off at 12:30 p.m. local time in Level 21 with blinds at 8,000/16,000 and a 16,000 ante. Blinds will go up every 60 minutes.

Action was heads-up with on the board when Steve O'Dwyer led with a bet of 50,000. Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 150,000 and O'Dwyer shoved his last 365,000. Thorel counted his chips out and called.
